If you use rising sun on him and iron maiden, does he heal you and damage himself, or does it heal you and heal him?

iron madien just returned melee damage i thought unless it has changed since the patch. and rising sun ammy absorbs fire damage so unless there has been a major change i dont think it would do anything to him.
