Smaller PS2's. Sonce when did small stuff take over the market. What about SUV's? Will they become smaller too? Let us pray not. If it ever comes to that, then American culture as we know it will cease to be. I like my food, T.V., game systems, and homes to be as big as possible. YAY HUGE STUFF!

Smaller SUV's? He he he. Crazy.

When I said that no system is better than the other, where the hell did you get the idea I was talking hardware wise? I was talking about games wise, I never stated anything about graphics dipshit, so dont make assumptions. Thanks again for making yourself look like in ass. Match point, Tyrannicide. |
Because the system is the hardware, maybe?
|
Well, im telling you now, I was not refering to the systems hardware wise, but game wise. No system is better game wise. Is that better?
|
You said "no system is better than the others". As WetWired said, the system is the hardware, moron. If you were talking about the game library, you would have said "none of the system's game libraries are better than the others". Game, set and match, shit-stack.
|
Why dont you get a life, no one cares what you think about any system.
Graphics are not worth all that much too me so hardware is fucking meaningless, so dont post another fucking rant. And no, 'no system is better than the other' doesn't have to be taken as hardware wise, it makes sense in the overall view of games aswell. It was just assumed I was talking about hardware and like in my previous post, I stated that. SO shut the fuck up. If you dont like the PS2 so much, why the fuck are you posting here, saying how bad the PS2 is? Why dont you fucking get pushed off a cliff into acid. |
I'm not attacking the PS2. I own one and I play it regularly. I'm not having some sort of console war debate with you! I was merely making the point that your statement that "no system is better than the other" is bullshit. That's like saying a Ferrari is no better than a Geo Metro. One of them is a more advanced and more powerful piece of machinery than the other is.
Jesus, dude, calm the hell down. I'm not attacking your preference for Sony and I'm not attacking the PS2. I'm attacking your asinine statements. |
Actually you were attacking the new ps2, in your first response to it, go read again if you don't believe me. You were bashing how it's parts are more flimsy, therefourth will wear out easier, etc. etc.
See the thing is, the new Ps2 (smaller) won't support the old ps2 compatible HDD. But there are rumors of them releasing another new smaller hdd for the new ps2. Not to mention, there are only like 2 HDD enabled games (so far), so not a big deal. I probably will buy this one, just because my old one doesn't work, and if sony does it right, they'll release it for 99.99 and nothing around 179.99 Another thing is, the new *PsTWO has FIXED support for all current CDRW / DVDRW discs (single layer at least) *It has BUILT IN networking (RJ-45 in europe / Japan, RJ-45 plue RJ-11 in america) *It also has BUILT IN IR support on front, like all remote control TVs and Audio components do. But does not have iLink port, oh well. But the built in networking support is great for keeping everything connected... |
Ha ha, you made him eat his words. I doubt that the rumours are false. Of course they'll release a smaller hold, or else they'll not sell as money, as they don't perform as well as their Big brothers/sisters.
Out of interest, what gender is a PS2? |
D3V, that's not an attack, that's a statement of fact. I also stated that the Gamecube has smaller storage space for FMV and no Dolby 5.1 support. Is that an attack also?
And on top of that, my first response to this thread has nothing to do with the squabble between myself and Tyrannicide. Those are two wholly separate contributions to this thread. Who's eating their words now, Marcy? Oh and by the way, there's nowhere on the new PS2 to hook an HDD up to. It's not the size of the console that's the problem, it's the fact that Sony has not included any ports for it to be connected to at all. THERE'S NO HDD DOCK. Do you think that by just duct-taping an HDD to one of these smaller PS2s, that's gonna make it work properly? It doesn't support an HDD at all. The rumors you've heard are false. |
The reason the Xbox is underused is because it only has 64mb of shared video memory.
Also, Raziel you are the king. |
The solution to all this is a compacted PC with superior specs and multiple drives to satisfy the needs of each game producing company.
|
Edited:
Look, you may not be able to use the HDD anymore, but as I've stated before, theres only one fucking game that needs it, (FFXI). Sound is reduced by 70% , YOu can boot it from the NETWORK, any network, and You've got the USB drives still, godly..... Heres a picture with the top open http://fredag.dagbladet.no/fredag/20...21/408934.html and a few others. |

The thing is built from off-the-shelf PC parts and runs like a PC laying on it's side. I'm not a huge computer guy, but I know enough to know that PCs and consoles don't operate alike, and trying to force them to do so only prohibits the full potential of the hardware's ability. Microsoft spent as little time developing the thing as possible, and they have paid for it in massive losses during production and lackluster sales numbers. Just to reiterate my former point, I am not bashing the XBox or it's game library. I've actually been considering picking one up for a while, but I don't really want to spend nearly 200 bucks on a console with only two or three games that genuinely interest me. I'm simply stating what I've been told about the hardware, and it's not intended to be an attack, just an objective observation. ...however, should the day come that Rare finally decides to release another Banjo-Kazooie game on Microsoft's console, I'll gladly pick one up. That would be the last straw. |
I vote that Raziel pwned you all like nubs.

Your vote doesn't count, goddamn hanging chad...
