I work at the school. My pay goes to tuition, so its' all good. I do whatever I'm told to do. Usually scrubbing floors, cleaning windows, lights, etc., moving desks and tables and chairs, and that's about it.

!King_Amazon! 2005-06-21 12:22 AM

Or maybe it's because he isn't old enough to work legally.

Thanatos 2005-06-21 10:24 AM

He's not 14?

Kaneda 2005-06-21 12:27 PM

The only place to work when your 14 is like ice cream places. I guess thats the only thing 14/15 year olds can manage.

I'm a semiconductor manufactorer.

Xenn 2005-06-21 02:31 PM

I'm 16 and I've applied at least 10 places.

Actually, I could've worked at coldstone, but I turned it down because the lady was a bitch and you have to do all sorts of bullshit. She claimed you had to pay for your own training, uniform, didn't get a break, and would often work past closing time.

HandOfHeaven 2005-06-21 09:18 PM

Wow, what a bitch.

It's too bad I'm not old enough, I was asked to work for Sara Lee bread company, but you have to be 18 years of age to drive their company truck for stock deliveries.
