That's very crafty. I wanna see the whole Dragoon one soon.

You should make one about me and Arkantis doing crazy shit.

Jessifer 2006-01-29 07:12 PM

Obviously I hadn't noticed.

Lenny 2006-01-30 12:50 PM

:p

There's the first one at 12fps. The second at 8fps. And the storyboard.

----------

SYG was the obvious choice for the animation. He needs to learn his camoflauge if he's going to survive in the harsh desert.

I'll have to start the Dragoon one soon, and the odd one just to keep myself amused.

----------

Ooh, oooh! Has anyone here seen or heard of the film "Jarhead"?

I saw it the other week or two...can't remember...but anyway, it's about the First Gulf War. Too tell the truth, I'm feeling extremely sorry for you now SYG. It looks so...langweilig (describes it better than just 'boring', don'tcah think? :p)! Seeing that every day for a year (or close enough) must send you insane.

"Suggested techniques for the marine to use in the avoidance of boredom and loneliness. Masturbation. Re-reading of letters from unfaithful wives and girlfriends. Cleaning your rifle. Further masturbation. Re-wiring Walkman. Arguing about religion and meaning of life. Discussing in detail, every woman the marine has ever fucked. Debating differences, such as Cuban VS Mexican, Harlys VS Hondas, left VS right-handed masturbation. Further cleaning of rifle. Studying the mail-order bride catalogue. Further masturbation. Planning a marine's first meal on return home. Imagining what a marine's girlfriend and her man Jody are doing in the ally or in a hotel bed."

I thought that quote was kinda relevant...except of course that SYG is in the civilised American Army thingy.

Average day for me:

Wake up at 0530
Physical Training from 0600 to 0700
Showers and getting dressed and eating breakfast 0700-0900
0900 until end of day usually consist of a few masterbation sessions, playing zsnes (usually 5 player bomberman 5 with my roomates, or mortal kombat 3) going to the internet cafe, rewatching the same damn family guy episodes, going to the gym, taking a few naps, and using the phone in the evening.

Now take that schedule and do it everyday, may sound fun at first, but for christ sake, you can only watch the chicken fight in family guy so many times before you want to gauge your eyes out!

gruesomeBODY 2006-01-30 05:01 PM

I hear you on that.

Jessifer 2006-01-30 06:52 PM

Well...at least you still have masturbating to fall back on. Hell, maybe you could find yourself a nice man over there to help ya out, eh? ;)

tidus2005 2006-01-31 01:51 AM

That is wrong on so many levels jessifer............ okay well maybe only on one level but damn it is still wrong.

Lenny 2006-01-31 02:50 PM

At least you've got the written word to keep you occupied...when your orders arrive.

What you need are some solid 700-odd page novels. Like those Walter Moers' I was chattering on about.

They'll keep you occupied for a good 5 or 6 hours.

!King_Amazon! 2006-01-31 03:21 PM

Shut the fuck up Lenny.

Lenny 2006-01-31 03:23 PM

I don't get it...

Poor !K_A! is in a bad mood. :(

I'm just making polite conversation.

Jessifer 2006-01-31 05:13 PM

Just ignore it, Lenny.

pr0xy 2006-02-02 07:49 AM

My brother was in the marines :( Theres a shit load of downtime...

SYG wtf happened the other day? Attatch that pic you were gonna send me.

EDIT: Lenny: I thought Jarhead was an excelent movie... I'd have liked to see some more action in it but hey, I'm not really one for action movies.

Lenny 2006-02-02 01:37 PM

I really liked it too.

I thought some of the scenes were excellent, especially when it was raining oil, and the scene where he walked throug the blackened sand, leaving a trail of white footprints.

----------

And I don't think SYG can attach. When I last spoke to him he was having attachment problems...but my computer killed itself before I could save the picture he sent. :(

sciencekid 2006-02-02 01:44 PM

ya think maybe it's a virus?

Lenny 2006-02-02 02:03 PM

Nah, it was IE.

IE really hates me, and I really hates it. I managed to crash it by opening Gmail... :p

Unfortunately it took the computer down with it.

Dar_Win 2006-02-02 02:07 PM

Mozilla Firefox FTW!!

tidus2005 2006-02-03 03:36 AM

Yeah firefox has been pretty stable for me except it often locks up if there is any kind of music playing in the background of a site, but i might just need to update to the newest verison.

pr0xy 2006-02-03 07:37 AM

As long as I continue to have 0 spyware on my computer... And my custom IE settings... I'll continue to use IE. It still hasn't crashed on me once.

Lenny 2006-02-03 09:54 AM

Nuts to IE. Nuts to Firefox. Maxthon ftw! I've used IE, Opera, Firefox, Netscape, all were horrible. I just love Maxthon. :)

The reason I was using IE is because Trillian opens links in IE, not Maxthon like MSN does. It kinda crashed horrifically.
