Hey thanks for the help everyone I have my monsters working fine. If I have anymore questions I'll post them here.

Ok I'm having a slight problem with my treasure chests. Whenever sometimes looks inside after they have already opened it the chest closes and says the chest is empty and then it re-opens. How can I fix this?

Preconditions, is what you need.

Give me a mo, I'll find the other thread on it - quite a few people have the same problem.

Try and work it out from that answer. I'll be doing the same. :p

Actually i had the same problem before and i got help from Atnas (I think) anyway what i did was i put a picture of the chest closing after it opened and i made a demo (just coz i like making demos and its easier to understand)

ok my chests are working but when i make a chest that needs a key the chest will open and say "you need a key to open this"

Hmmm... you can either have it as a conditional branch that checks to see if you have the item - if yes, then the chest event open bit comes in, if no then it says "You darfty. You need a key!".

Or, I think you might be able to do it with switches.
