The brown recluse's victim will actually rot your flesh away. We had a brown recluse infestation at my parents' house here recently. I saw one crawl over my friend's hands. I'm not convinced that's a brown recluse, it could be, but doesn't look like it. Brown recluse have longer legs if I recall right.
