actually they work, but the commercial ones lack intensity so they suck.
Basicly they are some kind of electric frequency that fisioterapeuts call "tense" and u can adjust its intensity to make the muscle to make an effort, but as those commercial have almost none intensity is as if u were lifting weighs of 1kg

All in all they shock the hell out of your stumach (i could be over doing it :D...) My aunt has one...
