ist of all i tink ps2 should have ff not cube

cube is shit compared to ps2

What basis do you have for that? The Gamecube is a far more powerful, and more expertly designed console than the PS2. It's technical capabilities surpass the PS2 in every category, except maybe sound quality. Your only viable complaints about the console could be the color and the selection of games.

And on top of that, as I stated before, Final Fantasy started with Nintendo. If FF belongs anywhere, it's with Nintendo.

I whole heartidly agreew with Raziel AND support the claims :D I own a Gamecube and a Playstation 2, and the GC has never let me down once, not even slightly teetered on that edge. Where as the PS2 has crashed dozens of times, and frozen alot too... not to MENTION lagged. Proof be told :)

i'm with Raziel. Square started with Nintendo so it's great to hear that they are coming home. i heared that the gameplay of CC is more like Secret of Mana and i liked that game so i'm interest in how the game would be.

But, they ended up scrapping the project and selling the whole thing to Sony. So, technically the only Final Fantasy game to ever appear on a Sony console is FFX, and FFX sucked. Final Fantasy belongs with Nintendo.
No! The SNES CD was made by Sony. Sony made the CD-ROM console as an add on to Nintendo's Super Nintendo. Before the construction of the system was completed Nintendo decided that their system was power enough to stand alone without an add-on. They also felt that Sony was way too controlling during the entire process when they were constructing the system. Nintendo not wanting to be owned by anyone, then decided to drop the system. Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX were all on Sony consoles.

That's from Next Generation in an issue called "So many next-gen systems, but which one should I buy?" in which they did research and back stories on each system. Including the 32X, Atari Jaguar, Sega Saturn, Virtual Boy, Sony Playstation, at the time Ultra 64, M2, and PC.

Ultra 64...if they would have named it that, oh dear. Thats like calling a system "Excellent 32", "Fantastic 128", "Mega 64" or "Great 64"
