I personally ended up using yuffie more then tifa or aeris. I like spunky lol, that and her outfit kicked arse. Of course, if you're cloud, you could probably get *both* Tifa -and- Aeris.

Those of us who actually have boobs that size (and possibly bigger). They're hella painfull, y0. But I won't turn this thread into a conversation about my breasts. I'll save that for a thread that may or may not be created in the future.

Anyway, if Tifa and Aeris were to battle each other, there's no doubt that Tifa would win.

Aeris is just way too girly and weak. In my humble opinion, Aeris is just in the game to move the plot along. She doesn't help much in the battles, except for healing early on in the game (If I remember correctly. I haven't played in a couple of years since I lost the game. Aeris does heal, doesn't she?). Her physical attacks were weak.

Aeris can't even take care of herself. The moment she's left alone, she gets run through. Tifa, on the other hand, can kick almost anyone's ass. And girls who can kick ass are hot. Her physical attacks are much stronger than Aeris'. I also like her limit break better.

But I do like Yuffie better than both of them.

Yuffie just annoyed the shit out of me. Partially because I wasn't keen on her design, and partially because she was a loudmouth, and I'm not fond of loudmouths.

I think Tifa is way better.She is prettier,smarterandstronger.

She reminded me a lot of Selphie from FF8. Selphie was a good character (even if her hair did annoy me), but not as good as Quistis. ;) But I suppose that Yuffie did get annoying in some spots. But damn, at least she's better than Aeris.

I didn't like Selphie either, or Eiko, for that matter. There's just something about those types of characters that other people find "endearing," and I just don't see it. When I look at Selphie or Yuffie, I see a hyper-active cheerleader that just won't keep quiet for more than three seconds. That just bugs the shit out of me.

On Tifa and Aerith and Yuffie's Attributes
Tifa's stronger because she was supposed to be a fighting chick. Hell, she's even stronger than Cloud, more agile than Yuffie, and even if her roulette's kinda evil to get to work, her Limit Breaks are very powerful (especially her somewhat Hadouken-esque-Kamehameha-esque Final Heaven). As a trade-off, she wasn't a great magic caster. Aerith on the other hand is your typical white mage heroine whose magic prowess is more damaging than her whacking stick. She knew she was a bother, and the only thing she could do for them was to pray for Holy and try save the Planet before it's too late. And look, if it weren't for Aerith's Limit Breaks earlier on in the game and her magical prowess, I'm betting you guys you wouldn't get too far into the game. She's more of a support character, and not a kick-@$$ character like Tifa. And her final Limit Break's the coolest support Limit Break I've ever seen; it's a shame she was skewered by Sephiroth, though....TT_TT Yuffie, on the other hand, is practically annoying, steals Materia and then when she returns them back they're all mixed up in your slots, but her plethora of wicked Limit Breaks makes up for her hyperactive and loud personality. . She's supposed to be 16, for crying out loud, and her co-party members aren't exactly her age group except maybe for Red XIII [or was it XII?!] (hence the whining brat syndrome). And she's quite a better magic caster than Tifa.

In other words, if it weren't for those "girly, weak and practically useless in a physical combat" white mages, we'll all hit the ground flat smack right down on our faces.

If you don't have a white mage in FF1 you're practically screwed.

She wasn't supposed to look hot in it, it's just her God-forsaken fashion sense. Would you believe her to be this cool magic-casting soft-hearted white mage if she's wearing a tube dress? Fashion almost always contribute to the overall impact of the character design that would make us either hate them or love them for it. And hell yeah, we have our own set of stereotypes.

OK, for those who still choose Tifa over Aerith, here's a rundown...in all Square titles I've come across so far:

You may have your own opinions, but in my opinion, the game developers at Square-Enix just love her character as to make her incarnate in these 2 un-FF7-esque titles. Tifa incarnated as Rinoa in FF8, and Garnet in FF9 (just check out the damn HAIR~~~!!!), but they totally reworked her over and these 2 Tifa clones only retained her hairstyle and not much else in the costume or personality department. Just using the same character over and over again makes you think that there is something about Aerith or any character out there that has stood the test of time and the gamers would still love (or in this case hate) her or him for it.

But this is a Tifa VS Aerith thread, so these characters are another story. But they basically reflect the same things that Aerith has that made them incarnate as themselves in the original FF 7 or an offshoot of what they were in these succeeding games.

Tifa is just better in all ways. She's hotter, tougher, doesn't die and she is actually Cloud's friend. They should get married and have kids. Aeris is like....a one-nighter girl.

I HATE RINOA~~~!!! But I like Garnet. She's intelligent, focused, and contrary to what other people think, not a spoiled brat. She wants the commoners to see her as Garnet and not as the Princess of Alexandria. Her
Eidolon Trance is one of the most useful Trances in the game, along with all of Zidane's Dyne skills and Amarant's Chakra. I just hate how some of her rod weapons look like, though; they look like mutated lollipops....O_____O;;

Tifa would only win if this is going to be a catfight. But in other aspects, I dunno. Tifa is a frigging fighting chick and Aerith is NOT. Tifa is stronger physically but Aerith is NOT. Tifa is Cloud's childhood friend and Aerith is NOT. Tifa manages a bar and Aerith does NOT. Tifa could cook and Aerith....well...they didn't say anything about her kitchen abilities.

BUT...!!!

Aerith summoned Holy and Tifa CANNOT. Aerith could cast all those cool magic spells and summons with twice as much damage and Tifa CANNOT. Aerith looks nice in her outfit and Tifa's and Tifa does NOT (look hot in Aerith's outfit). Let's see Tifa try using all her Limit Breaks once Aerith casts Knights of the Round. Take that you @#^%*#(#& B****~~~!!!

And yes, Cloud can't wait for the day he'll finally see Aerith again. Now how can Tifa hold a candle to Aerith with THAT~~~?!
