Hey guys, shutup!

GAHH added to first post.

Jamesadin 2004-06-23 12:20 PM

I don't know, it sounds kind of cool.

WetWired 2004-06-23 12:48 PM

 Please; I think you're the only one that hasn't gotten over that yet.

WetWired 2004-06-23 12:50 PM

Well, there is the as-of-yet unused "Advisor" rank which could be used to grant non-staff members staff privledges if it was decided that such access was needed.

undeadzombieguy 2004-06-23 12:52 PM

That doesnt sound bad...So will every1 get judged (that would be alot of work O_o) or will there also be ppl who dont get anything. Also I assume when u get ur soa (sexual transmittable disease in dutch language.:P.) this wont be forever, but when someone starts acting like a retard who has the soa this will be taken away?

Thanatos 2004-06-23 12:53 PM

Anything to spruce up the forums is okay by me.

Some people won't fall under any category. I.E. Xenn, he's not here enough to be SoAed, but isn't GAHH or BLIS worthy either. (lol)

Yeah, if, say, Bob was stamped and he started pulling slaynishes all the time, he'd have it revoked.

Slim 2004-06-23 01:23 PM

Ok, say Bob did start acting like Slaynish and you removed the SoA, would you immediately give him a GAHH, or would he have to keep being stupid for a bit longer to earn that?

Grav 2004-06-23 01:24 PM

Different situations call for different measures. If he kept it up for a while, he'd probably be GAHHed.

Titusfied 2004-06-23 01:32 PM

Then we should make more inbetween ranks, for inactives, etc. I'm taking my vote off No, since I originally voted that way because you initially made it out so that only you were deciding all their fates.

Demosthenes 2004-06-23 02:21 PM

I have a feeling that I'm not going to like my ranking in Grav's ranking system, but this might be funny, so whatever. I guess I'll vote for it since.

kockblocker1 2004-06-23 02:25 PM

As of now you are at 93.33% (not sure if that 1 vote against was Titusfied but that would make it 100%)

May as well just do it already.

Jamesadin 2004-06-23 03:05 PM

Alright, this isn't a bad idea. So, will (should) there be more ranks other than the ones stated?

Titusfied 2004-06-23 03:26 PM

I think there should... 3 is a little too restricting.

And there were 2 No's so far. Myself and Chruser. I took myself off, and the initial post didn't get Chruser approval. Maybe it will now, that it is updated?

!King_Amazon! 2004-06-23 04:26 PM

I dislike the idea because it would end up being a popularity contest.

Slim 2004-06-23 04:32 PM

I don't know. It seem like more of a way to punish stupidity, and make intelligence a bit more well known. Take Slaynish for example, just because he's stupid doesn't mean he isn't popular. I think most people here know the name Slaynish, but that doesn't mean he'll get the SoA. Only using Slaynish since he's been a running example the whole time.

!King_Amazon! 2004-06-23 04:41 PM

I'd rather the members show their stupidity and intelligence through actions, not a title. People who act stupid around here are well known to be stupid and don't need a title. People who are intelligent are known for this and don't need a title for it.

At least put someone better than grav in charge of it.

Slim 2004-06-23 04:48 PM

Well, I think Grav, Raziel (if he accepts) and a few others will be making a little council so to speak, so he won't have the final word in it.

Titusfied 2004-06-23 05:05 PM

Right, and this probably won't work anyway. WW would have to program everything needed, and Chruser doesn't even like the idea.

Slim 2004-06-23 05:06 PM

The original idea, or the updated version of it?
