Capitalism is a religion no different than Christianity. "The Fed" is essentially like the priesthood. "Free Market" is championed as the be-all-end-all in a similar way to "God". And the system is entirely faith based. We put faith in our paper bills when we use them as currency because we're assuming that they have real value based on what "The Fed" tells us. We put faith in "Free Market" to fix all of our problems.

Evolution works universally, in my opinion. Religion is just evolving.
