Eh, I'm not going to speak for Chruser or WW..

Slim 2004-06-23 05:08 PM

Ah, I thought maybe you had talked to Chruser about the updates to it, since you weren't sure if he'd go for them or not. My mistake.

Titusfied 2004-06-23 05:09 PM

Well, I have talked with him about the update, I just don't want to speak for him..

uncapped 2004-06-23 05:37 PM

It sounds hilarious to me. Go for it.

!King_Amazon! 2004-06-23 05:41 PM

I'd rather the points system be added. It sounds like more fun.

Thanatos 2004-06-23 06:06 PM

/me agrees with KA.

WetWired 2004-06-23 06:31 PM

I'm still waiting for Chruser to DL and unpack the new vB version before I can start on any such hacks

Grav 2004-06-23 09:45 PM

Chruser, if you vote yes, you can have the SoA!

Randuin 2004-06-23 09:46 PM

sounds like a good system, what is there to say though? I don't want to be on the crap lists? That's just blatently obvious and is a total waste of space to post, oh wait... I just posted it... Shoot me now

Grav 2004-06-23 10:25 PM

Right.

Bang.

Vollstrecker 2004-06-24 07:39 AM

This actually sounds amusing. Count me in. ^_^

Jessifer 2004-06-24 01:48 PM

Yeah, it could be amusing at the least. So...why not, I say?

symnzXx 2004-06-24 05:27 PM

because Chruser said no.

Penny_Bags 2004-06-24 08:10 PM

You know what, this sounds like a damn good idea to me.

And you know, I have been here for quite a while, rarely spam (and I mean RARELY spam), and unless I am joking, I rarely say anything stupid (and I mean RARELY say anything stupid). My judgement is usually pretty damn good, and what do I have to show for it? Nothing. I have never been a staff member, and I am rarely said to be one of those people who is "one of the smarter members" or "one of the better (blanks)"............................... if you know what I am getting at. But the Nazi's of uber cookie cutting popularity are quite obviously the better choice for a position like the council.

Anyways, I am for the idea, no matter how judgement systems pan out, however I reccomend as man categories with catchy names as possible. I also suggest that these categories aren't just on a ladder. They could vary to different personalities, such as a comedy stamp of approval, a flaming stamp of approval, a grammar stamp of approval; these would be quite similar to badges or medals in the military, except that we would have uber 1337 h4xor names for them.

GG folks.

For as much as I dis-like Grav at times, I still repect him enough to say this is a damn good idea.
Well theres my two cents.
Poll as of now is
  • 21 - yes
  • 5 - no

Hmm.. for some reason, I don't have any opinion of you, good or bad. Kind of like I didn't even know you're here. I usually associate people to their avatars; get one.

Vollstrecker 2004-06-24 10:24 PM

Swish! I'm Al Bundy!

So, any word on if we could actually MAKE a system like this work, or if it has officially been vetoed by Chruser?

Penny_Bags 2004-06-24 10:24 PM

Avatar... gwah...

Penny_Bags 2004-06-25 12:08 AM

Even if Chruser "officially vetoes it", he can't stop 5 People from making a council, making special sigs or avatars or something. After that, those 5 or so people could all have listed in their signatures who they have put into what groups... however quite obviously, the only way that we could make this truly official, is with the Swede's approval.

Grav 2004-06-25 12:12 AM

He is against good ideas. Just look at how fucking long it has taken them to get donuts out for the old members. By the time we get them, they'll be the last donuts in our post apocalyptic world.
