True. Any aspiring athlete wants to make it to America to play in the NFL/NBA.

It IS a World Championship. Point is, there are European Football leagues, Canadian Football leagues, etc., however, people only play there with the hopes of making it to the NFL. The best players in the WORLD play in the NFL, and it's the highest benchmark one can attain when trying to excel at the sport of American Football.

Putting it like that makes the World Champion title make more sense. I don't claim to know anything about football.

Yeah I'd say that's a healthy dosage of pwning.

On the other hand though, can you truly say it's a world championship if no one has the will or desire to contend with the NFL? It isn't REALLY a world championship unless it is an international game between opposing countries... At least imo.

It's international in the sense that people from all around the globe play on the teams though. Just because the team isn't from England, for example, doesn't mean there aren't any players on the team from England.
