Muse - Knights of Cydonia
|
Bone Thugs and Harmony - Ghetto Cowboy
Lenny, how is Muse's new album? |
Absobloodlylutely great!
It's a newish sound for Muse, although there are a few tracks with the trademark bassy bitties and piano and whatever else you want to chuck in. If you've not got it, and you like Muse, then you really should get it. |
Is it better than their previous albums?
The Eagles - Boys of Summer |
The only other one I've heard is Absolution, but I don't listen to it much for some reason. As of this moment, methinks it's better.
It's all a case of personal taste. See if you can borrow it from someone, or download it. Even if you don't thinks its better, then you've got it. :p --- KT Tunstall - Under the Weather |
Brian McKnight - Anytime
|
KT Tunstall - Suddenly I See
|
Rage Against The Machine - Renegades of Funk
I'm bored for the first time in a month. |
KT Tunstall - Stoppin' the Lovin'
Go nuts with a magnifying glass and the sun? |
30 Seconds to Mars - The Kill
Lenny, I cured my boredom. I went and took bottle pulls of tequila. |
The Raconteurs - Steady as She Goes
What a way to cure boredom. :p |

Dashboard Confessional - Don't Wait

That's a great song, I love the new Dashboard album
------- Journey - Girl Can't Help It |
Muse - Forced In
|
Bone Thugs and Harmony - Ghetto Cowboy
This song has so many memories of cruises. So many blissful memories. |

Muse - Hysteria
----- Methinks I'm going through a Muse phase now. Fun. |
I remember hearing Muse's CD everyday at a friend's house 2 years ago. Hysteria is a great song, my favorite aside from Bliss.
Oh damn, listening to Ghetto Cowboy again. It just gets me in a good mood. |
I always likes "Time is Running Out". :p And the one's with lots of piano. But apart from their new album, I've only listened to Absolution properly... I wouldn't count the Hullabaloo one as properly because it was background music.
----- Weird Al - The Devil Went to Jamaica |
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California
I loved Apocalypse Please before I actually listened to Hysteria. I would always party to Hysteria, and chill with girls to Sing For Absolution. A lot of the songs I listen to have many great memories, but I'm sure that's the same for you. Here are my top 5 songs off of that album: 1. Hysteria 2. Sing For Absolution 3. Stockholm Syndrome 4. Endlessly 5. Thoughts of a Dying Atheist I actually listened to Apocalypse Please too much, and now I can't stand it. |
Not really memories with any Muse albums, but definitely with others.
I'm listening to Absolution now, so I'll get some kind of order together once it's done. :p How big are Muse in the States? ----- Muse - Absolution (album) |
Cake - Short Skirt, Long Jacket
They aren't really too big, the only album that was really publicized was Absolution, and even that didn't get too much attention. In 2005, about a year after I saw the CD in Target, is when their singles were being shown on Fuse, and then on the MTVs. |
Hmmm... well I do know that Origin of Symmetry, or Showbiz (one or t'other) was originally an album made for the States, but their record company was being pissy, so Muse told them where to stick it, came back to England, and then released it last year instead.
And my top 5 from Absolution is more or less the same as yours. Except with more in it. :p ----- Muse - Bliss |
Dredg - Bug Eyes
I like this band as well as Muse. Have you heard of a band called Phoenix? I like their sound, though I don't know what to compare it to. |
I think I've heard of Dredg.
Never heard of Pheonix, though. Can you recommend any songs to listen to? ----- Muse - Feelin' Good |
Phoenix - Too Young
There is the first one that I heard. I just think it has a mellow |
Rockman ZX- Ending Credits
MMZ2 ending was better. |
Sum 41 - We're All To Blame
|
Gnarls Barkley - the one about Smiley thingies.
|
Muse - Map of the Problematique
I just purchase Black Holes and Revelations and I have yet to be unimpressed after the first four songs. |
Just wait until you get to "Knights of Cydonia". Amazing song!
--- Rogue Trader - Voodoo Child |
I like 'Knights of Cydonia' very much so.
I'm listening to the dead silence right now... |
I've got Hysteria blasting into my ears as loud as I dare, and a little bit louder. You start to hear the song playing when there's dead silence if you blast too much... almost as if it's echoing around an empty skull. :p
|
Sounds like a party.
Muse - City of Delusion |
Desmond Decker - Israelites
|
T.I., PSC, Li'l Scrappy - I'm A King
