New Administrator
 

I'm happy to announce that Zelaron has a new administrator who has showed the ability to want to sacrifice a bit of himself for the best of the forum. Previously, the group of administrators consisted of four people; WetWired, Xenn, tacoX and finally myself.

For those of you who can't remember, or would simply want to learn more about the history, Xenn and I were the first administrators to start the board, and tacoX joined us shortly after. We have been through a lot of changes, and WetWired joined us quite a few months ago, and went up the ladder into an administrator position. You have him to thank for doing a large portion of the Synthesis theme coding, and fixing a lot of useful code hacks in general.

So today, on the 5th of December, we get a 5th administrator for the board, who has actually pledged to give his life for the forum if required, which hopefully won't be neccesary, but customs like that are always nice. What you most likely know him for is his ability to rant, or to run an Ultima Online shard, even give his precious bandwidth away to everyone for free image/signature hosting. Of course, who I'm talking about is Penguin!

Oh, of course, this opens up a new Supreme Moderator position (a moderator capable of moderating all forums), so if you think you might have a chance to get the position, you can always send me a PM with details about why you should be the new Sup. Mod. Basically, a person with that status can do everything an administrator can, minus the actual control panel features, such as editing forum templates, modifying users and install new code features.

There should be a lot of nice events for all of you to look forwards to, so keep an eye on the announcements. Of course, the not-so-oftenly-used "Agenda" button in the forum header will give you an overview of the calendar events, so feel free to check it to be able to know everything in advance. However, there is still a bit of planning left to do, and if you think you have any ideas we could do, the staff will likely be crazy enough to actually spend money and a lot of dedication on it.

Well, once more, let me congratulate Penguin to his administrator position. But someone I would be even more happy to thank are all of you users. Without you, this board wouldn't be running, so we owe you all a lot.

I think Adrenachrome should become the new super mod.

well actually on second thought... adrenachrome is a good mod... sup modding him would actually be good

well, personally, i dont think post count has too much to do with it, but yeah, i think Adrenachrome should get the part. And big congrats Penguin, I think you deserve it.

I'd nominate Adrena as well, if the proposal went through. He does more than I do around here.

I wouldnt mind seeing Adrena as a Sup Mod. HE does alot around here.
