did the final fantasy movie have anything to do with the actuall game or was it a new story jus borrowing the name?

It was just a new story with extremely much sci-fi added. I shouldn't spoil too much, but "alien ghosts" is kind of overkill.

the plot to that movie is terrible. the graphics are UNBELIEAVABLY good. so watch it if you could sit through the movie just enjoying the graphics

Looks like some random 3dsmax animations, even though it was made in Maya, just like Toy Story.

you can make this randomly in 3dmax? if so you should be making tons of money living an easy life.

What makes you think that the movie plot is good Teddybearian? King Kai 3 doesnt think so... and it looks to me that the movie is totally off topic of Final Fantasy games. I wonder why they even made the movie...? It doesnt look too popular to me:P

I said it was made in Maya. MAX isn't as good for character design.

i think it is a great movie. lots of features on the DVD

It looked really good. I didn't have a HUGE problem with it, but I'm in no hurry to see it again. I think the movie would have been recieved far better if they hadn't attached the Final Fantasy title to it. If it had just been named "The Spirits Within" I think a lot more people would have enjoyed it. Like I said, it looked VERY impressive, it just wasn't Final Fantasy. For God's sake, the villain was contemplating SUICIDE. What kind of villain actually reconsiders his horrible actions?

Its been sssssoooooo long since I saw it and I was most likely high/and or drunk when I did so I will never be able to remember unless I see it again and by the sounds of it I prob wont rent it lol

Resident Evil was a badass movie. WAY better than I was expecting it to be.
