"angel" of war 2003-08-10 04:22 AM

what's your favorite book

remember to also write why you like it too. mine would have to be the illearth war it has some of the greatest battles in litreture and the characters are so noble yet flawed and so human also it doesn't use any of the cliche tolkien creatures my only complaint is that its extremely depressing. one of the best adult fantasy books in history bar none

I don't know if you'd count it as a book, but Love Hina by Ken Akamatsu. It's just so, touching, and inspiring, and such.

As for book books, I've always liked the Dragonlance books dealing with The Companions, especially the Dragons of _____ series.

I always thought The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was the worst of Chronicles of Narnia.

No. His books that I have read are:

Blue Gold
Serpant
Raise the Titanic

They're ADVANCED books. Look in the adult section at your local library.

Either you're bullshitting, or you don't know how many Dragonlance books there are.

Most of the Fyodor Dostoevsky's books.

The1 2003-10-01 02:00 PM

I didn't ask what it was about. I'm looking at 20 Dragonlance books on a shelf across the room right now. I simply said that you didn't read all of them as you stated.

tidus2005 2003-10-02 08:46 AM

yeah like i said i have read "most" (all was an overstatement after i look at the book list on barnes and nobles) of them atleast all of the ones that are on the link that you posted(i am yet to find the legend of huma tho at my local book store) and i gave you a link to soulforge because i didnt know if you have read it or not because it was not on that list.

Medieval Bob 2003-10-02 08:55 AM

Yes The Soulforge is on that list. It's about 2/3rds down the page under the heading The Raistlin Chronicles.

Did you not scroll down? Everything on that page is a Dragonlance book.

tidus2005 2003-10-02 02:39 PM

ok i am being pretty vague in what i mean when i say dragonlance so ill elaborate i have looked over the list and now see soulforge when i previously said that i have read all of the dragon lance books what i meant is that i have read all of the ones written by tracy hickman and margaret weis all of the ones to my knowledge that involve the characters of Tanis,Raistlin,Tas,Flint,Caramon, and the other characters like kitara and Sturm also the ones that include their children like Dragons of summer flame and Second generation. i hope this clears up what i have read i am sorry for not explaining this the first time but i didnt really think about the other authors of dragon lance, i assumed that the only ones that were talked about much were the ones written by tracy hickman and margaret weis.

I still say that my favorite book is The Soulforge :):):):):):)
