All that’s been taken for granted is about to change in the Realms of Battle! From what I can tell, it'll be wiping realm of bugged items. Not too sure on legit dupes tho. They been talkin about this for a while on the b.net forums.

Well thats great news! but i only hope legit dupes dont get wiped ^_^.

legit dupes will definitely get wiped because they have a weapon lvl of 99 which isnt possible because the highest weapon lvl is 95 so in short all the legit dupes will get wiped if they really do this

I hope not. Isn't the jewel id # fused with item #? I don't know for sure, so actual info would be appreciated.

nope not exactly the same thing will happen if you put a bugged jewel into a legit item the item will dissappear so if its a duped 40/15 your item is gone

no, it says if it has a duped jewel in it then YES it will dissapear. So say goodbye to all your godly ias/ed armors/helms

And i just sold all my bugged items for un'id wf and 6 ist phase and 4 ist monarch :P

You should try to trade those ist for unid item.

this would be good, even though im godly bugged on east, i have so many unid stuff that i woul dprolly beocme richer.

Don't count on it... I doubt MF even matters on b.net, it's probably some arbituary stat to make us squirm in delight when we get some. It's all luck.

Try thinking of rust storm in a different way, maybe its not a wipeout of bugged/duped items, maybe its a skill used by a boss that steals your items?

Heh. I wonder if the 'Item Deletion code" in the 1.10 beta patch is something to go by as far as what you'd better trade before this hits. I used the "Saveplayer" module for hackit and loaded the 1.10 beta, and various items disappeared, mostly 08's and pre-LoD dupes.

The curious part tho, is it didn't delete my Rogue merc's .08 40/15 WF. Also, none of my 40/15'd items were deleted. Wonder if that was an oversight on blizz's part... I might put my dupe 08's on a merc and get them killed to see if it spares them from the happy ol' Rust Storm. Worth a shot at least.
