Total lunar eclipse tonight.
Tonight anyone on the east side of north america will be able to see a total lunar eclipse and everyone in north america will see atleast a partial lunar eclipse..
for more information.. http://www.smv.org/ethyl/LunarEclipseFAQ8Nov03.html |
Thats pretty cool, I guess i'll go outside to watch it.
It's too late. It's over. Well, it is for my area, anyway. I got out too late to actually see it fully eclipsed. *sigh*
I was in a movie theater watching Revolutions when it fully eclipsed, but I saw it up until it was about 4/5ths done.
Missed it.
And I'm an astrology nut too. Sigh. Wish I could have seen it for myself.
I've already seen one or two so it's no big deal to miss this one.
Yea, it was awesome, and and some friends were running in a corn maze so we saw the whole thing, kinda cold tho, and i also saw a shooting star tonight, cuz it's dark in a corn field, along with a nice total lunar eclipse you can see ALOT of stars. Lucky me i caught a shooting star too!
Cool, I actually noticed it a few hours ago, but now I realized what it was, lol. GOOD STUFF!
Must people rub it in? So cruel thou art.
whoops if it came out that way, i didn't mean it.
I feel your pain for all of you who missed it, last year i missed the lenoid meteor shower which is coming up again pretty SOON, "check your local listing". |
Oooh. Meteor showers. Those are awesome.

Can I have your address so I can injure you? I won't kill you, just give you lots of pain.
I shall never miss another event that has to do with space again! |
You sure can, [email protected] would be it.
hey, i'm an astronomy freak too, i'm thinking about getting a minor in astronomy, cuz it's only like 18 hours more to a normal Aerospace Enigneering MAJOR, here at U of I.
and on that note, the lenoid meteor shower is november 19th |
Haaaaaaaw. *pushes her glasses up* Your humor, it amuses me.
Ugh. Headache. :head: |
it was beautiful!!!
but once i was told about it i ran upstairs and outside in bare feet and i stepped on something sharp. Blood. |
, Oh saw it... kinda boring. But anyone see the moonflashing when it is in total eplised?
*sobs* I didn't see the total eclipse! It's no fair! Why did Kate have to tell me a half hour late!? I blame her! IT'S ALL KATE'S FAULT!
Hmm, odd...I posted a thread announcing the last lunar eclipse. Didnt recieve as much attention as this one. Maybe its me...
That's because I wasn't around. *sagenod* Otherwise, it would have been. Because of me being an astrology nut and all. Gotta love space, y0. ^_^
it's astronomy not astrology. astrology is like horoscopes.
...Oh. You're right. Woo. It's too late. I'm not typing straight.
When is the next lunar eclipse? |
well mine didnt receive attention until after the eclipse was already over
the next one i believe is happening Oct 28,2004 |
I didn't even know that it existed until the eclipse was over. o.O
yea that seems to be what happened to most people here..
I felt a sudden chill in the air when the warm moonlight was suddenly extinguished by the Earth's engrossed inner shadow.
talking about astronomy, anyone saw mars?? it was cool, you had to use a 16 inch telescope though, but its cool, you can actually see the polor caps and that distinctive y shape....i had to buy a 200 dollor eye piece o hook up my digital camera
Damn Clouds!!!
I have a large telescope, but I can't use it unless I'm somewhere where there's no lights at all.
Cities suck for stargazing. |
Hehe, i got a girl to drive me out to a middle of a cornfield. I like her so much... shes too nice to me.
Anybody knwo when the next one is happening.
