Yay, snow

It started to snow here sometime at 3 am last night, which is the second time this year. It snowed a bit in September as well, which was a tad too early. I'll be back with pictures later if we get more, because most of it has melted away already.

Anyway, did any of you get any snow yet?

Eddie_Perez 2003-11-23 05:15 AM

Yeah! I too got snow like 2 days ago, which is weird because usually it's already compleatly covered before Holloween. I love it when the snow flakes are all packed together when they fall, it gives you this feeling... also at around 3am, the whole block is lit from one light on the block, and the snow muffles the sound... so its all peaceful... *lalalalala*

Kuja 2003-11-23 05:19 AM

4 times~ here, but not lot of it yet and the snow was always gone 3-10 hours after. Would be nice if there could be a few feet of snow that would fall.

undeadzombieguy 2003-11-23 07:51 AM

We got snow 4 weeks ago, but it only stayed 1 day :(

Demosthenes 2003-11-23 09:16 AM

haha...i live in houston. I've never seen snow in my life yet.

RaZ 2003-11-23 09:53 AM

nah i live in philly another month and we'll start seeing a good deal of snow

!King_Amazon! 2003-11-23 10:19 AM

None. It rarely snows here in NC.

Sovereign 2003-11-23 10:21 AM

We had a very small bit earlier, but then it melted.

Thanatos 2003-11-23 10:59 AM

It's 69 today and tomorrow it's 32. WTF is that.. It's practically 70. Then tomorrow we have a 70% chance of snow. Gay Indiana.

Penny_Bags 2003-11-23 10:59 AM

Here in Cincy, it is normally snowing a bit by now, but it was like 75 F outside yesterday... i played football :)

!King_Amazon! 2003-11-23 11:00 AM

I wouldn't be able to live there, I get really sick when the weather changes.

OmniFalcon 2003-11-23 12:56 PM

I like snow...

Jessifer 2003-11-23 12:58 PM

At least you people don't get gay lake effect snow. Blasted Michigan.

Mantralord 2003-11-23 02:00 PM

It's a good thing I live in Florida. Shoveling snow is retarded.

Jessifer 2003-11-23 02:24 PM

I don't have to shovel snow in an appartment.

Jamesadin 2003-11-23 02:39 PM

Here where I live, we have had snow for about a month and a half now. I love it, personally?

Hades-Knight 2003-11-23 02:39 PM

not yet.........last year it snowed twice in NC so i dont know wtf your talking about KA

where in nc do you live?

!King_Amazon! 2003-11-23 03:00 PM

Coast. Yes, it does tend to snow in Raleigh, and a lot at that. I remember a few winters ago raleigh had like a foot of ice on the roads and like 2 feet of snow if I recall correctly.

Where I live it snows maybe a few inches at most.

Tai 2003-11-23 03:11 PM

It never snows here. Well, it does, but that's up in the mountains. I'm in a stinkin valley, no snow for me.

Mantralord 2003-11-23 03:29 PM

I'll be damned if I ever live in a "valley."

Jessifer 2003-11-23 04:44 PM

I got snow before it was even Halloween. DAMN YOU MOTHER NATURE! :Postal:

Lake's up north!

Thanatos 2003-11-23 07:30 PM

PWNT!

Kuja 2003-11-23 10:10 PM

Lot of ice everywhere is very destructive. Like the ice storm that hit Quebec and a part of Ontario in 1998.

Over 40% of the electricity network blew up. over 500 000 building didnt have electricity and for lot of them it wasnt for 3-5 day lot of ppl lost electricity for 15 days+. It's a long time without heat during winter !

Some tree fighting to survive.

While most would just shatter by the wght of ice.

Electricity Tower Shattering because they cant take the wght of ice any longer.

PPL prevented from using their phone.

Ice wouldnt take long to mass up on any vehicule.

http://www.verglas.netc.net/images_v..._laflamme2.jpg

Anyway, this was quite destructive and dangerous but i had great fun.

Sovereign 2003-11-23 10:12 PM

YOU LUCKY BASTARD. I want a massive snow storm to hit our area again :(. Most ive ever seen was 2 feet or so.

RoboticSilence 2003-11-23 10:18 PM

We don't get much snow here in Knoxville because of the goddamned Cumberland Plateau.

Kuja 2003-11-23 10:24 PM

Sov. This wasnt a Snow Storm ! We get at least once Snow Storm a year in Quebec.

It was a Ice Storm and knowing you, there is no way you would survive. From what you tell me a day without comp is to much for you to handle. Now imagine at least 15.

Sovereign 2003-11-23 10:32 PM

What are you talking about. I could live with out my comp. And i have batteries so id stil be able to get online here and there :p. Id love an ice storm. I love snow and ice ingeneral.

timmay1113 2003-11-24 10:52 PM

BlueCube 2003-11-25 08:17 AM

No snow yet, just rain. Massive amounts of rain.. Flooding and everything, but I live up on a hill about 4-5 miles away from where the flooding occured, so lucky me.. (Pennsylvania, USA)

Eddie_Perez 2003-11-25 09:49 AM

Windchills reported of -20 tonight :(

Kuja`s #1 2003-11-25 09:53 AM

We'll get ours soon.

Eddie_Perez 2003-11-25 09:55 AM

You'll get yours up the ass...

Jessifer 2003-11-25 01:12 PM

I dislike being out in the snow. It's way too cold. :( But it's pretty to look at, so I'd rather stay inside sipping hot cocoa and watching it.

We got around 3 inches of snow yesturday. And Lake Michigan had a gale warning. 12 foot waves. w00.

!King_Amazon! 2003-11-25 03:30 PM

Eddie for the last time stop spamming, that was innapropriate and just plain stupid, this is your last warning.

Dar_Win 2003-11-25 05:51 PM

Jessifer 2003-11-26 10:26 AM
