That's right, you can post all of the suggestions for the forums that you can think of right here. Anything from removing post timer counters, new layouts and so on to planning the Zelaron forum strategies for the future so we might become an even better forum.

Oh well, I guess it's all up to you folks.

Humor Forum!

Wiccan as A supreme mod in dmasters place
and a misc gaming forum (for computers mainly becuz theres only places to talk about a couple games no new games or just off topic games and stuff)
also is there a way to make the spam forums not show up in the view new post list because they serioulsy hog all the usefull space and I lose all my worthwhile posted threads

Oh yeah also a newbie forum for questions to be answered by senior members

I also second that.... :) JohnnyTAE, from the second I met you, I honestly thought "mod" simply because you help, you're cool, and you help... You hold alot of mod qualities. You remind me of a young me, er, a newer version of me... er, well, uhhh... you remind me of me when I first came to Zelaron... but I was only a regular member for under a day.... But yeah, keep rockin, and you got my vote... :)

Also, that would be nice, because then they don't have to post it in a diff forum and fear getting yelled at or something... it would make Zelaron more friendly.

Thanxz again for the compliment wiccan :D you honestly are one of the best mods here and would be best in my view to take dmasters place he hasn't been active and you have done so much more then he has while he was here you one of the most helpful mods and the only other mod that has been as knowledgable and active as you would be hlom and dark (out of the active members) but they best fit into the mod places they are in. Chrusher plz tell us wut you think??

Sorry to be taking so many spaces but I'm posting the ideas as they come and we need a sport forum with maybe a news person to keep us up to date

A humor forum is a bad idea, and a general gaming, we could fit somewere, but its a remote possibility. I will talk to some admins about it...

Ghost Recon
 

Chruser, i was just thinking of a new game to start with, Ghost Recon by Tom Clancey. I posted about it and did a poll. do you think that if enough people agree with me, we could start one up? I would be more then happy to mod for it, that is if it's alright with you. have a good one :0) peace

Yeah, I know it's modeled after CLF, but it's sweet. We should have "Custom Titles" that go under our user name. You can change them in the Control Panel and golly gee, they're just fun!

þØz3®þÛ|\||< - I implented those, but you need to have been registered for at least 60 days and have 2500 posts before you can start using them. Obviously, that can be changed, since I'm the only person who comply so far.

About the ghost recon thing, you can start a thread, and if it gets enough votes (I'll check for cheaters), I will most likely start a GR forum in the FPS section.

Well, the misc gaming forum would have to "rest" somewhere, and I can't think of a good place. Inactive mods will obviously be demodded sooner or later.

hopefully sooner than later :D

Would mods get custom titles also if they choose?

i think the newbie forum is definitly a good idea, and would make zelaron a lot less spam free (other than chat of course), cuz less people would be busting on noobs. that ones got my vote.

I agree, a n00b forum WOULD be nice, yet is it really nessecary? If you can show me 10 posts with noobish questions, you get my vote. :) (I'm to lazy to find them myself) lol

these forums will be quite deserted. try to condense it. For the amount of users this board has, there are waaaay to many forums. I wouldn't add any at this point, and condense/remove some. For example, condense the older console forums into one forum.

wiccan hardly posts in any of the forums besides "off topic" ones. supreme mods should be ones that post in a variety of forums and would actually be usefull to their position.

Well... A UO forum will be semi-populated now... since we got the LOD players on this place... so it won't be deserted :)

We had an UO forum, but we removed it due to inactivity. I think we got 4 posts in a month there.

But it's back in buisiness :)

the same is true about the separate individual forums you have for NES, SNES, Atari, Coleco vision, Neo Geo, Genesis, etc.

ewk... what's the point i mean they are more deserted than the new ghost recon forum! (mind u the UO forums is not deserted at all thanky to my useful download of UO :D)

i got an idea aabout the post timer. maybe if some1's been a member for a certain amount of time, and posted a certain amount, the timer for them could be removed/lowered? cuz i get the fact that its mainly there to prevent mass spamming from other sites, and if we made some1 be a member for 60 days or so and about 500 posts, then we could be pretty sure theyre not here just to spam, theyve got something to say. just my 2 cents. cuz i think that would make it a lot more fun for the people that come here to talk, and have trouble doing it cuz of the timer

that would just instill a post count heirarchy. wait, i want that :eek:

the spam timer is a good feature I belive keeps everything from being overrun

I think mods shouldn't get the timer even outside their forum :)

yes but spammers cant "overrun" the forum if they post in their own separate forum

the posts there effect many other parts of the forum i.e. the view new post link, and the post count hiearchy :D

I was just thinking with all the changes with a new cheat sections and a misc gaming forum both if's but what if you began a new place with the name like General Gaming then put the cheat codes and Misc Gaming underneath it and the noob forum should be under zelaron

I dunno... i think it'd be just a spam fest because there are so many games out there... unless in the forum you limit that there can be nothing down there about a game that already has its own forum... then it might be actually somewhat successful... i dunno...
