What scares you

In all honesty, it is hard to scare me...but one thing scares me and will probably continue to scare me. The little music box theme in the first Resident Evil save rooms. Nothing else seems to scare me at all. It's just so ominous and freaky as fucking hell. So, what scares you?

iostream.h 2004-01-18 02:11 PM

Gay butt sex with Titusfied because spiders come out of his ass.

Medieval Bob 2004-01-18 04:06 PM

Spiders *cringe*

and no, not the big giant spiders like in movies... the little ones that hide in your sheets or in a drawer.

Chruser 2004-01-18 04:27 PM

My place is spider infested during the summer, so I'm used to going to bed with a lot of one-inch spiders crawling around in the ceiling, some which might fall down into my bed. Bahaha. :Y

I'm a tad afraid of extreme heights.

D3V 2004-01-18 05:03 PM

Death is probably my greatest fear, the possibility that so many variables play in our lives every day which can change or be changed.

Another thing that scares me is destiny, what is my desinty? Am I doing this right, or could I be fucking up the world with every walking step. And I'm afraid of heights too.

Jessifer 2004-01-18 05:06 PM

There was once a thread like this. Then someone merged it with the WRT. So I suppose the rebirth of long forgotten threads frighten me.

...That and earwigs. *shudder* Those things are scary.

Eddie_Perez 2004-01-18 05:17 PM

Solitude.... scariest thing for me... I mean like real solitude... like stranded on a planet by yourself kind of thing. The thought of it makes me sad. :(

Grav 2004-01-18 05:21 PM

Having no friends..

Jessifer 2004-01-18 05:34 PM

Well...in all seriousness, I'm horrified of never being able to have children. :(

EX-Mania 2004-01-18 05:59 PM

Grav, im sure if everybody had that fear alot of ppl would be going mad in these forums :)... (btw i have friends :P) but anyway..

Slow death, I am so terrified of it that I had panic attacks when I used to do drugs.
If I ever hear that I have a mortal disease I will freak out and most likely faint :P... hopefully they can drug me up nicely so I won't have to think of dieing... the fact that I will be unconcious for eternity is scary.. but on the bright side... people like sleeping, dieing feels like sleeping, when i wake up in the morning i would rather fall back to sleep so there's a way of feeling free afterall :D

Oh another one is heights, planes ect... knowing I'm in the air and the only way to get out is to go back down (where I would least likely wanna go when I'm up there) is bad... because it takes a long time to go back down :(.. how crappy

sh0e 2004-01-18 06:01 PM

i was going to make a crude sexual joke.. but then my locker room phobia kicked in as i forsaw the coming onslaught of flames belittling my manhood

EX-Mania 2004-01-18 06:06 PM

Ah, good to know we have members who think before they act :).. we need more people like you! :)

kaos 2004-01-18 06:56 PM

Death is a welcomed permanant visitor in my life. I don't know but I have been thinking too much of why things act the way they do and why we, humans, were put on this miserable ball of dirt and air. And the answer is blank. Maybe I am just curious about what happens when people die, or maybe I'm tired of this shit.

Anyway, I'm afraid of gay people too, especially the ones who are tough and can get you easily in prisons and shit, ugh...

D3V 2004-01-18 07:52 PM

I'm also scared of waking up one day in a coma, Just the thought of the world happening around you and you can't do anything buy stare.

DaFrigginDoctah 2004-01-18 08:03 PM

Bob knows what scares me.

Medieval Bob 2004-01-18 08:35 PM

Oh I'm not horribly scared of death. I'm certainly not ready to die anytime soon, but it's not the actual dying part that scares me. Death could be painful, but nothing seems more horrible to me than not existing.

Dan XIII 2004-01-18 10:57 PM

What is scaring me now is college. It is only my third semester and I am going full time.I am afraid of failing.

Sovereign 2004-01-18 11:05 PM

I have a horrible fear of spiders. Damn things.

Spiders aren't that bad unless they are poisonous.

Medieval Bob 2004-01-19 01:17 AM

In my book, all spiders are deathly poisonous. They can all kill you within 20 minutes with one bite.

well you probably think all snakes are poisonous too don't you.

DaFrigginDoctah 2004-01-19 08:15 AM

Bob is right. All spiders must be considered dangerous, and on the loose.

Medieval Bob 2004-01-19 08:48 AM

Nah I could care less about snakes.

Here's why I'm scared of spiders.

I was between 6 and 8 as far as I can remember. I'm walking into the living room from my bedroom, and I see a spider in the floor. This is a big motherfucking spider, okay? Anyway, I run to my room and get a shoe. I then proceed into the hallway to hit the spider with the shoe. All is going as planned until I smash the spider.

Literally hundreds of tiny baby spiders came out of it. They went everywhere. I was like AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!

To add to the trauma of that instance, I lived in that house until I was almost 19. I knew there were spiders in the house. There just had to be with how many I saw that day. I do see spiders in the house sometimes, though it's not very often. Still, I know they are waiting for me.

DaFrigginDoctah 2004-01-19 09:00 AM

They're waiting for us both, man... They're waiting for us both.

And if ya'll want to know why I'm afraid of spiders (not so different than Bob's story, but a lot funnier... FOR YOU) thread dig for another thread posted a long time ago with a name similiar to this. Or just do a search for all posts including "Spider" by DaFrigginDoctah.

It's too traumatizing to type again. I'll get all itchy.

Eddie_Perez 2004-01-19 10:22 AM

I'm not scared of bugs, its touching them which freaks me out...

Rurouni Storm 2004-01-19 12:27 PM

Crowds. Any place with a lot of people. I'm used to being on my own, so large groups make me nervous.

You can't wake up in a coma, babe. I think you're getting it mixed up with being catatonic. Even then, I don't think you'd be aware of your surroundings. But do I know what you're getting at. That would be hell to go through if it were to actually happen. Personally, I'd hate to be paralyzed from the neck down.

And spiders aren't as bad as wasps/bee's/scorpions, IMHO. Those stinging insects are horrible. I'd even rather deal with snakes over them.

Jakarta 2004-01-19 04:20 PM

Jess, you are so lucky you know a smart person like me ;)

As for what scares me...insects that sting, spiders crawling on me, and clowns.

Valmar 2004-01-19 06:02 PM

Honestly, the thing that scares me the most is having to live life alone, without a girl by myside nagging me to death... Sounds like something alot of people despise but you never know what you have untill you no longer jave it :(

Shush you! I know lots of smart people! But then again, I know more idiots.

And I have a small phobia to clowns. My step grandmother collects clown dolls, and when I was living in my grandparent's house I had to sleep in the same room as them. It felt like they were watching me...

Carnies.

You know, Circus Folk.

Randuin 2004-01-19 10:49 PM

What scares me is that they are trying to make abortions illegal!! O_O If they did that, theres no telling how many ingrates, with obvious mental issues due to thier birth name, would be walking around the earth and maybe even posting here. Luckily, only one has made it here so far. Isnt that right robin? Shouldnt you be saying some shit like "Holly tollito batman its the joker!" or some bullshit like that?

Subjukator 2004-01-21 09:59 AM

The unknown slime lurking behind the fridge... many have tasted... many have vomited... none know... its true nature remains a mystery...

Really.
