Arkantis: How the hell?
 

I could've just pm'd this to you, but I figured the whole forum might like to know.

When you joined Zelaron for the first time, before the crash, you were terribly illiterate in the English language. You couldn't formulate the simplest of sentences. Now, your English has seemed to have infinitely improved in an ubelievably short amount of time. How the hell did this happen? When I say you were illiterate, I don't mean like "yo man...wassup g-foo...ima grab a gat." I mean, you didn't know the simplest words, and had no idea whatsoever about the syntax of this language. You gave us some pathetic excuse saying you weren't from an English-speaking counrty. So who are you, really? Obviously, you're not who you pretended to be. Why the bluff?

I agree with Grav. You didn't seem very smart when you first joined but that's changed.

I would lke to point out that it is a proven fact that your environment can change you (positively or negatively) and specifically on the internet, in order to fit in, people will change their habits. How the fuck do you think the gay AOL speak got started?

When zel crashed, I went to another forum and my ghrammer was just unexceptable, I posted upwards of 30 times a day. I also shifted into an english ghrammer section in school.
The plain and simple fact is that I just wanted to get better and i did. Its not that hard to go from terrable to sub par.

Heh, after the first time you spelled grammar, ghrammer, I figured, typo. Then the second time out of two possible times... Wow. Yes, you're posts have become actually legible now, but still aren't flawless, obviously. :D

I was Hooked on Zelaron... Then I realized everybody hated me... After that I turned to racism, cocaine, and male prostitutes. But now Im back!! For a day I guesstimate.

If you do a search on his old posts, you will see that he actually typed like a 12 year old, but it seems with the 13 year old status, he made a mental leap of approximately 7 years, give or take 5.

I never realized how badly grammared Arkantis's posts are until I read this thread.

Basically nothing but announce new games and stuff is what I heard one time. News Poster is really no different from being a member/senior member.

Your grammar may be better, please work on spelling. Seruosly (should be seriously) and sudjest (suggest). Sorry. just noticed those in a lot of your posts lately, and if you correct them you will not be looked upon as a fool.

Cant rightly say why I lied, but I am Italian. I can say it was prolly a need for acceptance, I was immedatly thought to be someone I wasnt. (The1) I can say that was my real grammar and that I was that bad, I did join another forum and that is how I improved so much. Otherwise that was my only lie, I do play the flute,paino and guitar, and I dont particapate in any sports and I do work at a grocery store.
I am guessing that everyone on zelaron has there own little lies, that was my only one, I just wanted to fit in. I am sorry for deciveing you. :cry:

Heh. That quite literally made me laugh out loud. I still don't see why it is such a big deal how I type. The ideas I express are, for all practical purposes, the same as the ideas I would have posted six months ago. The only difference is that now I present them in a different way. The point I brought up about Arkantis was slightly different. He seemed as literate as that guy who posted that mantis pic with the quote "It's a BIG shiiiit." Anyway, thanks for the explanation, Arkantis.

If you check before my "Am I bitter" thread, you will see that I typed like an AOL person before that; if you talk to me on aim, I still type that way. After writing that thread, I have made a conscious effort to type better. That is the only difference.
