I'm at the mall with a couple of my friend's paying off my tux for Prom. After that I go to this store called Spencer's Gifts. They've got a lot of funny ass shirts and perverted crap. Anyway, I bought an earring that had 69 in the stud.

I go over to my girlfriend's house after I get back to spend some time before the weekend is over. She sees the earring and freaks out. She said, "Now everyone is going to call me a slut!"

I'm like, "teh fux?" She says, "You bought an earring that has 69 in it, and because I'm your girlfriend people are going to think we have sex all the time and people will call me a whore and/or slut!"

...Ok? I'm keeping it but I won't wear it all the time. Anybody else have any experiences like this they're willing to share?

I really hate when you don't even do anything remotely related to them and they get pissed at ya. It is soo gay.

What also seems to be the case, in my school at least, is that girls with boyfriends tend to be really selfish. They think that the guy is gonna automatically cheat on her if hes with another girl at ALL. One of my friends gf is like this. She wont let him hang out with ANY other females. I hate that whore.

I think maybe she's being a little paranoid, but if the earring makes her feel bad or uncomfortable maybe it's best to not wear it around her. It's not a totally insane request. However, if she gets weird or overprotective about other things and it interferes with your normal interests or social life you have a problem. But I wouldn't sweat it about an earring.

Sadly that's true, but it's usually because they have bad lovers. Guys think of sex as more of a physical thing than a mental thing, and women are the exact oposite. You've gotta tell her you think she's sexy and talk to her during sex and yada yada, not just try to get your jollies off.

What the fuck do you mean by "let her know who's the male"? Neither one of them should be controlling each other. Don't stereotype women just because you've had bad experiences, they don't all try to control you, my girlfriend NEVER tries to control me, and I don't try to control her. Going on 3 years now.

That attitude is what is keeping you from having good relationships. If you go into a relationship "knowing" that she's going to control you and be evil and all, it's not going to work out.

There's nothing wrong with keeping up the pace as long as both partners are OK with it, if you get bored then the relationship isn't going to work out anyway, that's what marriage is all about.

Ugh, I'm going to get aneurisms from the generalizations in this thread. If you think all girls are so predictable and similar, then that's your own problem. They're not. There are plenty of exceptions to that "rule", and I sincerely doubt it's only nationality-related.

Obviously the main point in life is usually sex. It's what guarentees our genetics passing on. While that is a direct motivation for a lot of things, not all people pursue it in the same direction.

Yeah, of course we want sex, but that doesn't mean it's the only thing we/I care about. I know for a fact my girlfriend and I won't have sex before we're married. If all I cared about was sex, I would not be with her seeing as how I won't get any. I compliment my girl everyday and she likes it. We've got a great relationship and just to throw this thread back on topic, she doesn't control me or try to. Hah.

Man, I had a relationship like that before. I was all about it while in it, but thinking back on it makes me realize how patient I was. I honestly think that relationships with sex are more fulfilling, but then again, that is just my opinion, having had the better of both.

And Grav's exactly right about the smart girls. (I'm guessing its the exact same for smart guys vs stupid guys.) That IS one thing I do like very much about being an artist. Artists want to be with other artists, ideally. And in that case, it's a general, level playing field for both sexes' mentality. So its fun, alotta fun.

I don't think sex is evil. However from a moral standing point I do believe in abstaining from it until marriage. I can't impose my belief like this on other people and I haven't tried. However, while a lot of people couldn't give a rip if porn was on every channel, there are other people who would prefer it if sex was not pushed in their faces 24/7, like on things like shampoo commercials.

The Janet Jackson thing was wrong. I don't know why everyone made a huge deal out of it, really, but it was still breaking decency laws and therefore should have been fined. The point is, what place does that kind of stuff have at the Super Bowl? It's a sports event for goodness sake, not a strip show. Lots of people had their children watching the game too. I'm sure the parents were really happy about their kids subjected to somewhat demoralizing nudity when they were just expecting to watch some football.

That's exactly my point. What is so horribly wrong about a kid seeing a nipple? The kid isn't going to go blind, or go out and screw the first person of the opposite sex it sees. Sex and nudity are portrayed as evil things these days.

Except, of course, for the fact that you can't get more than a 98% protection versus pregnancy. By saying this, I obviously assume sterilization is not part of your lives. So yeah, statistically, every 50th time you have sex with a girl, you'll get her pregnant. If you "only" use a condom, the protection rate plummets to 95%. Unless of course heinous sex is paramount.
