Do you want to do Pit Runs, but your only good character is your MF Cold and/or Fire Sorc?

Good news! You can share in the same sort of fun, but WITHOUT watching for Immune Monsters.

Your dream-home is the Mausoleum. All the monsters in there are undead, and EVERY ONE OF THEM IS ONLY IMMUNE TO LIGHTNING. The best part, all have the same drops as The Pit.

Directions: Take the Cold Plains waypoint and head for Blood Raven. The Mausoleum is the one to the upper-right.

well, u need mh to find the correct way...
(pitruns do not need mh to be found fast... outer closter, then ran back, alswas along the "way" in the game... and tadaaa, the pit ;) )

you really dont need mh because the cold plains is fiarly small and if you just follow the edges you will find where it makes a little cove and you will find the Mausoleum.

following the edge is very shitty way, sry, then i prefer pindl or eldritch.....

i got a fire only sorc, sounds good for her, pit is full with fire imunes...
so my merc had to kill them in pit...

used 2 do pit with smite pala (dont laugh ^_^ ) , that works good I can tell ya.

gris shield 3 ist , gris weapon 4 ist (or ali ist ist) (or 6 socketed PB 6*ist) , enigma , coa 2*PT (yes perfect topaz) and some other mf shit....

OMG SWEET!!!!!!!!! this is kinda awesome and in a away bad, since i heard about pit runs all i have been trying to do is get enigma for my pala, i did but i lost really good items i could have used, now pit runs suck and i lost my soj for my sorc so damn it but also good because i can do fast runs with my sorc but i lost a soj i could have used on my sorc to make the mause runs even faster dam ntiswtyjoiesa7yj43a9h43wa98-hs754754sw8d65r8d485874de7

so vol does that have they same drop like baal are the lvl82 or higher and can they drop like baal drops

Last I heard, the Pit's monsters are at LvL 85. So from what I understand, they can drop most items in the game but not all of them.

In 2000? That was like patch 1.06 or something. I'm pretty sure the pit wasn't "the place to be" in 2000, nor was the mausoleum, it was all about meph and pindle.

i did mosulem i found all light imune but sometimes it have fire or cold imune too randamly i think

Dunno about that. I did 10 mauseleum and crypt runs tonight and found nothing but lightning/physical immunes.

Ive done about 1hours worth of mf in there nothing good and only one imune to cold monster.... all lighting and physical imune.....i'm running around with 456%mf....

OK after running for another hour after my first post, yea there is maybe one or two that are cold immune. Didn't find anything good. Some mid-level uniques but nothing godly. Did find a HEL rune tho.

k well i got 508 mf, i did runs for about an hour and this what i got.....cold skill grand charm(no mod), cruel runic talons(219%), trang helm, + 3 eschutas. plus some mid lvl stuff. so thx again voll

OK, more runs last night. A few mid-level runes, a few exceptional uniques, nothing worth mentioning. Did find more cold immunes and an occassional fire immune.

I did find out that it was a decent place to level my lvl 60something merc. He helped out against the fire immunes.

One question. Why mausoleum and no mention of the Crypt?

The Crypt is only mlvl 83. A Unique Monster there can't drop the TC 87 items (Azurewrath, Tyrael's Might). ^_^

You need mlvl 85 for champions (drop at +2 which = 87)/uniques (which uniques and minions all drop at +3 = 88) to drop ANYTHING.

Tx Voll. I see I have a lot to read up on (mlvl, etc). So, what I gather here (again, total noob really) is that I can skip all the regular monsters and go for the uniques/champions when I run the mausoleum.

I wouldn't. All the monsters are capable of dropping anything EXCEPT TC 87 (Tyrael's/Azurewrath).

The Champions, Uniques (and unique minions) can drop ANYTHING AT ALL.

Also, the Chaos Sanctuary and River of Flame are the same way in A4.

The entire Worldstone Keep (Level 1, 2, Throne) in A5 is the same way.

Tx again Voll. I gotta lvl up my merc enough for A4/A5 hell. He can barely survive in A1 :) Guess I shouldn't be too lazy. I found even at level 83, I can level maybe every other day if I do the following runs (exp shrines help too):

Since I don't bot, this is how I MF now:

Meph
Pindle
ressurect merc
Frigid highlands (that guy just up past the wp)
Mausoleum (where he dies towards the end)

Repeat process.

My current MF plan is to join full games (usually duel games) with my Hammerdin, and do the following:

Countess
Pit
Mausoleum
Summoner
Meph
Diablo
Eldritch
Shenk
Thresh Socket
Pindleskin (if available)

It's not too bad. I've been dueling more with my WWsin than doing anything else though.
