Favorite NBA Team?
Ok I'll get it right this time.
My Favorite team HAS to be Orlando Magic. A. They're my 'home team' B. They got rid of the ballhog moneyhog Tmac, and cashed in for Stevie Franchise and a few others. C. Dude, they're Orlando! |
You have a decent squad and should do some damage this year. I can't even imagine if Hill never got injured how awesome you guys would kick ass.
Of course, I'm a Philadelphia 76ers fan, but they just blow big dick. L.B. killed us when he left, and ever since, we haven't been the same team. This year is going to be just as bad as last year, if not a lot worse.. I've already said goodbye to the .500 days.. They are long gone. |
my fav team would have been the bulls bak in the day where they owned but the fucking coach wrecked the team apart just like he just did to the lakers, he sold o'neal to miama but i couldnt say wither pacers or pistons both are really awesome teams that i love to watch
Who is your favorite team though? You must pick one, and you must do it now. :D
i picked the pistons
Ahhh, when I initially looked at the poll, I thought I saw the Cavs got a vote, not the Pistons, which is why I got confused, since I didn't see them in your post anywhere. My mistake.
Magic, they've been my favorite since I was a kid.
I'm stuck with being a Celtics fan.
Well, the Celtics just got Gary Payton in a trade, so that's decent news, unless he plays like he did at the Lakers, then your team sucks even more.. :(
Gary Payton, along with Penny Hardaway, are my favorite guards of all time. I'm thrilled that he's here. So thrilled, in fact, that I just might dance.
Jazz...even tho they traded Malone.......
malone still plays? i thought he and stockton retired.
Go bulls!!!!
I know nothing about nba so i'm just voting for my home team. |

Yeah, and he sucked complete ass. He hindered the Lakers championship more than anything, trying to be a hero and play injured and all. What a dork.. :(
T-wolves. Cmon they have the best player in the NBA, KG.
And he's got the whole world on his shoulders. What a pimp. :)

This is honestly a very tough question, because I don't know how evrything will shape out. I don't have much of a loyalty to any single team; instead I like to follow players. Whoever my favorite players are playing with, I usually go with that team. Now with all the switches that have happend recently, I really don't know.
Normally I'd be inclined to go with my home team, which is the Rockets, but I don't much like the way they are shaping out right now. They may do very well next season, but they may do terrible as well. Either way, I'm probably going to watch most every game, but I am not a big fan of the team. I don't particularly like Tmac. A few of the teams that I would consider rooting for this year would be the Miami Heat, L.A. Lakers, Philladelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic, and Sacramento Kings. The Orlando Magic may be my first choice, because for the last five to six years I have been growing up on Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley, and have grown to like them quite a bit; perhaps the best backourt in the league. Since I've been following them for so long, I will probably watch every Magic game that I get the chance. Also, Kelvin Cato has just recently begun improving drastically. It's a shame to watch all of those players leave Houston. Plus, with the addition of Dwight Howard, and if Grant Hill stays healthy, the Magic may very well be the top team in the east. It just depends on how the Rocket's player's transition goes. Now, Miami has Shaq. It's a shame that they lost a bunch of players, but they have Shaq. Shaq is still one of the most dominant force in the lague, and when he gets pissed off, he is quite fun to watch. I hated seeing Rafer Alston leave from that team, because I thought he was a great roll player. I think he's playing for the Raptors now. LA and Philadelphia both have some of the most exciting players to watch, namely Allen Iverson and Kobe Bryant. I'm a big fan of both of those players, and wherever there game takes them, I'll follow them as much as possible. Now Sacramento has always had a good team, but I've never been a fan of Peja. I'm hearing rumors of him and Carter being traded, and that would be great. With Mike Bibby, Vinsanity, and Chris Webber, the Kings will be a great team to watch, and a powerhouse in the west. It's a tough choice, but if I had to pick a team right now, I'd go with the Magic. |

Jordan may very well be the best basketball player of all time, but that doesn't neccessarily make him my favorite basketball player of all time.
Ugh, like I mentioned earlier in this thread, I hate how someone follows different teams, depending on different things. I have a few philosophies on why this is your case:
That is all I can think of as of now. |
I picked Philly because they are the city of brotherly love.
 |
Sorry MJ, but I think that KG is better than Shaq. Shaq can't play defense so that makes him a liability. KG can play any of the foward postions, hell he could prolly play guard if he wanted. So yeah he is very versitile but he dominates the game on both ends. On offense you can stop shaq, just make him shoot a jumper. But KG can make the jumpers and is quick enough to help out on defense aswell.
KG is better than Shaq but he's really all there is in the timberwolves..
gO KNICKS! |

Rafer Alston aka Skip to my Lou aka the original playground baller is teh pwn. |
I forgot to mention that my favorite team is, of course, my hometown heroes, the Pacers.
What the hell do you mean, "at least the Pacers will have some competition in the Eastern Conference now"?
Too bad they couldn't cut it enough to get to the Finals. |
One team gives us trouble; that's it. Miami getting it to 7 games was a fluke, it won't happen again. I give props to Detroit, they're the only team that is relatively close to our playing level.
Orlando and New Orleans are at your playing level. Eastern Conference is ownage this year, man.
Meh. We'll just have to wait and see.
God, I can't wait for the NBA to start again! |
Screw the NBA. It's all about College Basketball and the NFL.
^^uncaped No idea wtf he is talking about once oh ever!
I expect Orlando to go all the way, if they can get some good teamwork going on and all that talent mixed together, they will be a great basketball team.
And College sports are better in my opionion because they're playing for the sport, not the money. |

Eh, I don't really get that excited over the NBA, there are too many games. Now, the NFL, where literally every game counts... Now that's excitement for a full season.
Yeah, yeah, the NFL is good, too. My opinion contains a huge amount of bias, seeing as how I breathe basketball.
Oh, I breathe air. Well, except when the Eagles are on, because then I breathe beer, wings, and pizza like a hot date on prom night!
Umm, maybe that last part belongs to another joke.. EAGLES!!!!! By the way, I'll be waking up in about 5 and a half hours from now to go to Lehigh and watch the Eagles last open visitors day of training camp! WRs are signing tomorrow, so T.O. here I come nigga! |
Well, I tried that air thing and it just really didn't work out. Breathing basketball is better for the liver.
This year, Chicago is going all the way. Jordan is on the top of his game, Pippin is just off da hook. Shit's changing. Lakers are going down again, fo sheezy.
