But my computer doesn't have a TV-OUT to connect to my setup in the basement. Nor will my computer play Halo3.
|
Well, you can get an adapter that splits a computer speaker style cable to the Red and White audio cable, it's a Y-Adapter. I have one and I use it to connect my laptop to my sound system.
Your computer can play Halo 3 if its good enough since they will clearly come out with a PC version like they did with Halo1 and 2. I like all three of the next gen. consoles. They are all appealing. |
That still doesn't let me connect to the TV itself. And I doubt my comp would be able to handle Halo3. Nevermind how much longer I would have to wait. The whole reason I beat Halo2 the day it came out was so that nobody could ruin the story for me. If I waited for the PC version of Halo3 I wouldn't stand a chance of that.
|
Halo3 is going to suck, just like the two weapon upgrades and 3 map upgrades that Halo2 came out with from H1.
|
Well seeing as how I liked Halo2, that argument doesn't do much to sway me, now does it?
|
*calls Kaos*
EDIT-Ok bid placed |
Hahaha. I didnt even think of that.

That's all the Xbox has, and it's technically not backwards compatible unless you purchase additional software from them. Bummer for you.
|
Now what would you all do if they started making Halo for the PS's as well??
Just remember, across the road not down the highway...or is it down the highway not across the road?? Screw it. Both!! |
Are you a complete fucking moron. There are adapters out there for this type of thing. Do a little research once in a while. There is an adapter that plugs into your moniter slot on your tower and the other end has an A(mono, doesn't matter if you use the audio Y-Adapter)/V in and out. It's so fucking simple. Stop bitching.

When was he bitching? Take it to the flame forum, prick. Your short-temper has gotten to me, and probabaly most others. I wouldnt mind tearing you a new one. |
I don't have a short temper, I just get mad when people don't research such a simple problem. He could have easily spent ten minutes looking for it on google instead of saying he can't hook it up to his system.
I just don't like it when someone is capable of looking something up, but instead ask other people on a forum because they are too lazy or other possible reasons. If we can have super consoles that can do more than play games, we should most definetely have PC to TV adapters. Sorry if I came off as an ass, but I think people should look things up before making a statement like that. |
I bet you the instructions for "how to be the first to get it" are:
1. Line up in front of store 3 days early. 2. Buy it quickly. |
I never bitched. Not once. Nor did I ever ask anything. How can I be complaining about my computer not being able to hook up to the basement when I said I didn't even WANT to do that?
I just stated that I would rather play Halo3 on Xbox360 then wait god knows how long for a PC version to be released, neverminding the fact that my computer probably wouldn't be able to paly it very well if it utilizes the 360's full power. And I know it would be possible to hook my computer up to my basement, but I don't want too. Too much work, and I don't have internet down there. It just isn't very feasable for me to move my desktop PC from my bedroom to my basement every time I want to play Halo, nevermind how much longer I would have to wait for it to come out on PC. Oh and another thing, there is no PC version of Halo2 yet, despite your post to the contrary. Next time read my posts correctly and make sure you understand what I'm actually saying before you start bitching and calling me names. |
