I'm so ready for the football season to get back underway, shit there's been so much news circulating around the league, even with muh own Jaggies with DD being released and culpepper possibly being on his way, it's definately going to be a good year upcoming.

So ... I propose, that we start up another league this year like we had I believe two seasons ago I don't even quite recall, honestly.

Yup... we'll see how this thread does I suppose.

I'm in just like I have been for the past 3 or so years of Zelaron's fantasy football. Let's try to make this year the best one yet. Normally, we see a flurry of activity in the beginning but for some reason or other, people tend to forget to update their rosters and it makes it less fun.

By the way, D3V, Jags are still fucked this year. Doesn't it suck that you guys have to be in the same division as the Colts? :)

If you don't remember, the record was 1-1 last year, and the jaguars totally dominated the colts in both games, go look up the stats, it was a murder out there I'm serious, we're gonna be fine this year.

You guys dominated us in one game. Yes, I remember that one very well. I believe you guys had over 20,000 yards rushing in that one game? That's what it seemed like anyway. After that game every single analyst/expert said "With that run defense, the Colts will never win a Superbowl." HAH. Suckers!

Should be some fierce competition though, this year. Tennessee and Houston should just give up and let the Jags and Colts duke it out for the division title.

...Yah I forgot you we're a damn colts fan :P... it's all good though it will be good competition this year, and actually last year the Titans managed to pass us jaggies in the Afc South which sucks.... but we rounded out our record at the end of the year which didn't show what we had really done during the year.. but we've got soooo many guys coming back off of injury that any team we play along with you colts and who you guys play are gonna get whooped...

Well I live in Indianapolis, of course I'm a Colts fan!

The Superbowl parade downtown was incredible. It was seriously -20 degree windchill but there were THOUSANDS of people lining the streets. It was an awesome feeling man, none like it. Maybe Jville will get one someday, but not with the Colts in their way. :)

One of my best friends is a cowboys fan, I just have to support my buddies.
My roster will not be very strategic... Mainly just players that I personally like, whether they have great talent or not.

Nevermind, got it. I was attempting to join the PLUS league, which costs money...

Haha. I made the same mistake too when creating it.

Not for a WHILE. Preseason doesn't even start until August.....

Yeah which is why i'm not all jumpity hopping all over it yet, i'll get it done eventually :P


Looks like it's gonna be a decent season though, i'm sure i'll be in another few leagues, and hopefully more than just one pay league, I wanna actually make some more money this time around rather than just beating everyone for "fun"

Draft isn't 'till September. We're definitely getting a head start this year. I'll put up a reminder as it gets closer and closer to draft day.

Seriously, we need to put like a monthly countdown to keep everyone reminded.

It won't matter what you guys, 'cuz after my highly successful draft i'ma be #1 throughout the season. It'll be alright though, i'm sure you'll try your hardest :) lol

Nah, my team got rooked. I never updated my auto-draft, got first pick, and they gave me Alexander, who was out most of the year. I would've taken LJ, although he didn't do much in the beginning, and LT was the real stud.

i think i came in first or second (i cant remember) but i do know i was in the final game. I never updated my predraft so i got stuck with Chad Johnson for the first pick, which meant that i had crappy RB's for the entire season( Only good one was Portis until he got injuried). But, i did have the best receivers that i could get. (Reggie Wayne, Chad Johnson, Donald Driver, Alge Crumpler And Lavernous (sp) Coles) and they helped me win alot.

Damn son, those are some good receivers.

Whoever had LT last year in ANY league most likely won.

Yeah basically, last year was pretty crappy for me I got kicked out of my families personal league (My dad's .. that he and his friends play) .. for sleeping in and not being awake for the draft, so they removed my team and added one of their other buddies which is totally rediculous knowing that I had came in 1st and 2nd the past two years, but anyways (lifesection stuff here)... I'm ready for the zelly season i'll probably actually update my team again this time, lmao.

Well it didn't help that for most people's championship game, LT didn't get any TDs, so a lot of them lost, like me. 2nd ain't terrible though.
