Just curious!

Though I already know why I think...

Tch, how childish.

Vault Dweller 2007-12-06 07:57 PM

Haven't looked at WetWired's link yet, but I'm pretty damn sure I know what it is.

Edit: Yup.

Thanatos 2007-12-07 07:47 AM

Wow... just wow.... Good thread title, MJ. :)

anyway, what's the link? I can't view it.

Titusfied 2007-12-07 08:10 AM

Yeah, me neither.

Lenny 2007-12-07 09:18 AM

I reckon it'll be in the NSFW forum - I can't view it, either.

EDIT: "Eva Mendez nude in chatterbox" is the reason given.

Thanatos 2007-12-07 09:38 AM

.....

Don't you learn at all, D3V?

Titusfied 2007-12-07 10:29 AM

At least he's funny about it.

Thanatos 2007-12-07 10:39 AM

True. This is mildly entertaining.

Jessifer 2007-12-07 10:43 AM

Growing old, though.

HandOfHeaven 2007-12-07 11:46 AM

Everyone and everything is growing old.

Thanatos 2007-12-07 12:31 PM

Very observant of you.

!King_Amazon! 2007-12-07 06:13 PM

He posted nude pictures in the chat forum, knowing good and well that he'd get banned for it. We need a dumbass tag.

Titusfied 2007-12-08 05:08 PM

Good idea.

Well, here's what went down through another forum exchanges.

I never said or figured she was.

BECAUSE TECHNICALLY they wouldn't be fully clothed, if you respond with because they aren't naked would totally contradict your whole entire argument, hence, making you a hypocrit in the context of the rules which in case is overstupified and grounds for change.

And yes, even if there are censor bars, if it is clear that the subject is not clothed, then it is against the rules.

I am posting this on behalf of the rest of the members...

Grav 2007-12-09 07:08 PM

The rule is in place to ensure that those who wish to view Zelaron from work or a formal environment (such as my office) can do so without risk. According to your logic, if I had full blown hardcore porn up as my screensaver in the office that would be alright as long as it was blurry and covered in censor bars. It doesn't work that way. The presumed intent is more of the issue. If WW's boss walked in and saw a huge image of a woman naked but covering herself with her hands, you can bet that he wouldn't say to WW "well, as long as I don't see any nipple it's O.K."

If you can't follow the rules to respect the rest of us, don't expect to garner any respect.

The only reason I even give a rat's ass is because I got shot down for putting SNWS in the title, being told that we have a NSFW section for a reason, which I don't choose to partipate at work, while I can still do so with SNWS pictures. It's a twisted argument. I guess i'll just restrain completely.

And the picture itself, Didn't show any actual nudity. She may have been naked, but was bent in such weird angles that you couldn't even see anything, which is the point I was trying to get at.

Grav 2007-12-09 07:20 PM

And your point is invalid because it is still incriminating at work due to what the image suggests - nudity. The office environment can be very draconian in that regard.

I don't see what is so hard about this. Post this sort of thing directly into the NSFW forum. Period.

That's not true either, if a thread has NSFW tag at the top of it, THEN DON'T CILCK IT AT WORK. Simple as that.

Raziel 2007-12-09 07:25 PM

He won't get it, Grav. You can type it in caps, colors, flashing text with a fireworks gif behind it and he still won't get it. If it's not what he wants to know or hear, he is perfectly oblivious to it.

Wrong. It's as simple as "if a thread has NSFW tag at the top of it, THEN DON'T POST IT OUTSIDE OF THE NSFW FORUM."

Demosthenes 2007-12-09 08:06 PM

I'd like to add that many members are not going to have any idea what NSFW is or stands for, especially the newcomers. I did not know what NSFW was until the why is D3V banned #37 thread.

Jessifer 2007-12-09 09:46 PM

Seems to me that Dev is trying damnedest to be the ultimate devils advocate.

D3V 2007-12-10 07:54 AM

On second note, if you guys are so concerned with keeping everyone out of trouble while being at work then howcome profanity is allowed freely?... As profanity is not safe in my work place, strictly prohibited.

Thanatos 2007-12-10 07:55 AM

Fuck that fucking bullshit. Ya goddamn shit-smelling bastard child.

flameviper 2007-12-10 08:33 AM

Hmm.

What if there was a picture of a woman wearing a bra that was spun from wool, except instead of coming from a sheep, it came from a dog?

Would WW's head explode?

Thanatos 2007-12-10 09:34 AM

WW is a computer, not a person. His hard drive would be fried.

flameviper 2007-12-10 09:43 AM

What about ASCII pr0nz0rz?

You'd better be careful, that ASCII isn't fully clothed.

Titusfied 2007-12-10 10:13 AM

I don't like accronyms. They confuse Titus. :(
