Teamspeak Online?

Any sites out there where one could maybe use a headset and talk? Could an AIM conference be used with mic enabled? Other ideas?

You can use Skype to talk to other people. I'm assuming your problem with Ventrillo or Teamspeak is you don't have or want to get a server to talk on.

The new Vista has some features I haven't messed around with, but they have a new version of Windows messenger from what I can tell, just haven't gotten around to messing with it.

But I usually just use Ventrilo.. you need to throw in some more information.

Ok. See I don't even know about ventrillo. I'm playing Medal of Honor on the Wii and youcan only use like 8 pre-set commands to communicate in game. In the lobby you've got a whole 15 or so messages to send to players. ie: Hi, Yes, Want to play?

Okay, now.. I didn't know you meant on Wii which I don't really have any clue for online communication, I figured they had their own builtin communication thing, like Playstation and XBox have..

It's not really Wii related. I simply want a medium to hold voice confereces online. So my friends and I can talk uninhibited. I'll see if the above sites suit my needs.

Teamspeak, Ventrilo, Roger Wilco... any of these should work.

!King_Amazon! 2008-01-18 05:20 PM

Well the problem with Teamspeak and Ventrilo is you have to have servers to use. Not sure about Roger Wilco, never used it.

If you're just wanting to voice conference with your friends and you're not incredibly great with computers, Skype is probably your best choice.

Grav 2008-01-18 05:24 PM

From what I remember, with Roger Wilco one person's PC acts as the host. I don't even know if the program still exists, heh.

"For one low fee, you can subscribe to Roger Wilco as part of GameSpy's Game Tools package, and unlock exclusive features in all 3 of GameSpy's software products (Roger Wilco, GameSpy Arcade and GameSpy 3D."
Ugh.

Just use Skype, I'm pretty sure it's free.
