The word "consecutive" was unnecessary in your post, even though you are correct, you cannot have 3 consecutive terms, but a more precise statement would be you cannot have 3 terms.

But my reason for using the word consecutive was to ensure that people knew I was referring to Bush, and not mistakenly think I was talking about Clinton.
