Desire
 

Resisting temptation, the urge to give in,
The redundant thoughts begin to set in..
Realizing the consequences but debating the matter
abide by our standards or consider the latter?

Quarrels between what is right and what is wrong
Morals begin a fight, that was sure to come along
What do you do? What do you think?
Rules set by you? Or rules set by who?

The longer you ponder, the harder you think
Consumed in thoughts you begin sink.
Where's your life jacket? Don't they come standard?
You need one now, before you get slandered.

Outcome the impulses, the contemplation has ended
Potentially begging for a second chance extended...

Random thoughts? But it rhyms...
Is it like a play, where words just-so-happen to rhym!? I wish my thoughts and words could do that, but I don't have the vocabulary for that. :(
