New Server is messed up...
 

This is JohnnyTAE and chruser the new server keeps unlogging me after I click a link, I even tried to make a new account to fix the problem but it is not working I hope you get this message and help me fix it soon.....


and yes I already deleted all my cookies and logged out numerous times, it isn't working right

Ohhhhh I thought it was some kind of subdimension... so can we stay here? I like this server better...mmmmmmmm......server.......

I sent this email to a guy who mentioned that he couldn't log on properly:

Hi there, sorry for the late response.

The board has moved over to a new server, and in the process, the domain name (zelaron.com) needs to link to a new IP address. This relink takes a varying amount of time, depending on your ISP. For some reason, the temporary link does not allow cookies, so unless I find a solution to this problem, you will have to wait until your ISP updates their DNS. If it takes more than 24 hours from this moment, something is REALLY wrong.

I apologize for this, but there's nothing further I can do right now. You can still read all of the new posts for now, while you can't reply to them. When the board is back online, http://www.zelaron.com/forums will simply not give you that "offline" message any longer.

Does it happen to everyone? Because it hasnt affected me at all.

It's been happening to me as of late, but my whole connection's been screwey ever since my ISP was bought by a bigger company. Heck of a lot faster when it's working though.

i had the same problem from my friends computer a few days ago. now that he upgraded to XP Pro, it works fine...

Xp Home= stripped off Xp Pro

I upgraded my I.E. cleared all my cookies and more but I can't get the new server to work correctly...

what problems are you having, exactly?

I log in on the main screen it is accepted and reloads with my style and all, then I click a link to goto one of the forums or any link and when that page loads I am logged out yet again... :'-(

Hmm, there's a setting in the control panel about cookies. Make sure it's on.

Also, check your browser settings and make sure it accepts cookies from this site.

lol Rorouni I know I may not be on your level of competence, but trust me I can tell if my cookies are on or not. I can go around these boards jus fine (www.zelaron.com) but the new server is jus all fuked up

This has happened to me on various vBB forums, I tried another friend's PC but it did the same thing.. I think it's an account glitch
