druid question

when u are a druid and u transform can u still block with a shield?

Titusfied 2002-12-20 08:37 AM

Yeah, you get all the same stats and advantages, just quicker and cooler looking! ;)

MelchiaMH 2002-12-20 11:18 AM

You block with your arm when you are a wolf...But your arm is the same as the shield you were using...Think about it...

druids actually Block Slower in normal form
in trans-formed state (bear/wolf)
you block faster
and you attack faster (with any attack, even normal attack)

tidus2005 2003-01-10 08:03 AM

cool thanks for the info i didnt know because when transformed u cant us throw attacks so i didnt know about blocking

`Insolence` 2003-01-10 02:47 PM

Yeah, alot of low lvl dueling druids just use 6 socket bows, with +15 max, cause of low requirements and speed

Apoq 2003-01-11 04:45 PM

insolence, no they don't o,O
they (most) use 5 shael hel or 5 shael __rune__ dimensional swords for using feral/fireclaws or maul or w/e
i had an lld druid ^^

tidus2005 2003-01-14 08:30 AM

yeah i think it would be pointless to have a bow on a druid because druids have no good skill for ranged attacks

i think he's talking about werebear werewolf shape :P
then u cant use the bow ranged but all the dmg and speed will be there in the attack u use

Apoq 2003-01-14 02:56 PM

yes damage+speed is there

the problem with bows for shape dueling is that they always have 1 Range

so if you shift-lock for killing cows, you will be getting hit, and you won't be hitting them i don't suggest using one

ShaolinSoldier 2003-01-15 12:24 PM

Apoq, isn't a Naga better than a Dimensional blade? It's got more damage and the same speed. I guess maybe cause of requirements, but that's the only thing. Nagas don't require dex though, so it kind of balances.

Apoq 2003-01-16 12:46 PM

i think requirements have alot to do with it, i see alot of lld druids with 5 shael hel dim blades
