Van Gough, I dont know much about art, but from what I know and have seen he is the best.

What about Picasso, Da Vinci, ...?

These are Impressionists, if you didn't notice. I've seen quite a bit of art by Van Gough, but not that much on the others. I'm going to Europe (Rome, London, Paris) in a few months, so I'll get to see all of their work... hopefully.

There's an Impressonist's Gallery around my town. Whenever they have a show, I'm always too lazy to see it. -_-

Damn you must have alot of time on your hands.

Gough was an amazing man. Maybe he was called insane, but I think he saw something that we fail to.

I voted "Van Gough".

What about Pollock? How about Andy Warhol? Most of you people probably have no clue who these guys are, and are all about some techy shit with grids and lines -- which is fine because I understand that everyone has different tastes, it's just that the original artists should be recognized, not those that attempt to recreate what others have made. I see kids on here asking for tutorials on how to make certain things, and if you have to resort to looking for tutorials on how other people made their art, then maybe you should think about a different style. I also understand that looking up tutorials can gather ideas, but it's a different thing when you attempt to use the tutorials as your own art.

I'm finished. Analyze, flame, destroy.

That's often the case with brilliant minds. They pick away at reality, and notice the gears with which it turns - things that normal people could never notice, dare say even emulate. So brilliance is often mistaken for insanity.
