This game is fucking awesome.

It's a mob sort of game based heavily on films like Get Carter ( not the shitty Sly remake ), Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and other great British gangster films. It takes place in the actual rendering of 40 square miles on London.

This game is innovative in it's ideas to make it less like a game and more like a playable movie. There are no maps or on-screen indicators. If you get shot you bleed and limp. Even when you have to drive somewhere you'll see no arrows. The directions are indicated using the vehicle's turn signals. All these ideas plus a superb graphics engine piece one of the best games I've played all year ( yes, better than Vice City ).

I'm greatly looking forward to it ( supposedly January 21st ) and if you want to check it out, get the new issue of Offical Playstation Magazine and play the demo.

it is a ps2 game so someone move it o_O also it does look badass I am going too try and pick it up when it is released

Shit, I'm gonna go subscribe to this and the X-box magazine today for the demos.....so tired of buying games, then realizing I didn't want the game THAT bad.

You just realized that they have Demo Discs? Heh... poor you.

Lol, I tried the full version at a gaming cafe recently. This is fuckin funny! On level 7, you gotta kill a detective. I was goofing around, and when I rolled into a guy, I took him hostage. Then I dragged him out onto the street and tried shoving him into a moving car. I wound up dead, at the base of the hostage, the hostage STILL being choked, and dragging me across the street. The next time, I dragged the hostage out, killed him in the middle of the road, and then ran head on into a moving car, and the driver got out to help the dead guy lol. Other times I ran into the side of a moving van, and my body dissappeared but left a shadow on the ground. One time when I was trying to be serious about the mission, I got into a firefight, and I got shot in the ass, and he was limping around holding his arm like he was shot in the arm, even though he was only shot in the ass. Lastly, this game is bizzare as cops will walk up to you when you have a hostage, and CLUB you to death with their guns. Plus sometimes even if you do die, they STILL arrest you. Heh, play this game and act like people on America's Dumbest Criminals, and you will have a good time :)

this game is cool although it has alot of unneccessary foul language which was not what i was expecting it was just like f this and f that and hey u get off of the f*ing road ... crazy but otherwise :grin:
