Hey does an etheral occulus give stronger magic spells for the sorc? I saw a necro who summoned an etheral monster b/c of his wand and it seemed to be a lot stronger.

no, an ethreal occy doesnt give stronger magic attributes and im pretty sure you didnt see an etheral moster.

was it an ethereal iron golem? making one out of something ethereal will make the golem look transparent

No the spells are the same, and having an ethereal wand won't make the golem ethereal, you have to summon it from an ethereal item. And according to diabloii.net 'because golems you can see through are cool'....rofl

I think an etheral occy makes more 1hand dmg ^^
