Sucks to "The Core"
 

This could possibly be the worst sci-fi movie I have ever seen. The science was laughable, the plot was silly, and the acting was horrible. Thank God my tickets were free because I would never pay $$$ to see this dog. I mean it is so bad dont even rent the dvd.

Here is one example of the dicrepancies. At one point these people are in their "Terranaut" suits working outside the ship in 4500 degree temperatures with something crazy like 800,000 pds. of pressure psi. Now at a later point in the movie they are stuck underwater at 800 feet and wondering what to do??? I mean wtf man? This suit that can survive the pressure and heat at the CORE OF THE PLANET CANT WITHSTAND 800 FEET OF FUCKING WATER PRESSURE???? At that point I started laughing out loud much to the annoyance of the other movie guests.

If you want a good laugh and know anything about the basic principles of thermodynamics you may enjoy it as a comedy, otherwise DONT GO!

I could of told you it sucked and I only seen the trailers.

Like I said it was free and I still regretted it. Two hours of my life gone forever.....What really pissed me off was that it was plausible for about 90 minutes and then...wooeee straight to sci-fantasy land. In one scene the hero was pulling fuel rods from a nuclear reactor he had just shut off lol. WITH HIS FUCKING HANDS!!! (he did burn them lol)

Was this the movie where the natural-disaster weapon that the US has goes crazy?

Yeah thats it..

Its pretty pathetic actually, "Lets go into the Earth where the the pressure is so strong it will solidify nickle, and where it is so hot you would melt! YAYYYY"

Im going to go see this for my friends party (gamecube). Relay a message over to him ASAP!

I'm not gonna get all technical with this movie, though. I'm gonna see it despite what you guys say :P
