Well, I'm sure you're all aware of it by now, but here is a reminder: Zelaron will NOT tolerate warez. A recent thread about various ways to share such unlicensed software and movies was recently posted, and while free speech is one of the rights for all of our members, we cannot tolerate public discussions about stolen software.

In fact, it's against the rules of our datacenter. If we'd be a warez site, we would be shut down. Here's one interesting post from the thread mentioned above:

Talking about unlicensed software, which in fact is very common, is one thing, but trying to SELL it is another. In some countries, you can be fined for hundreds of thousands of dollars and sent to prison for several years. Not only was the message posted by any random member, but by our own administrator tacoX.

Taco, you're supposed to be a role model to the users. This time, you certainly proved not to be, and no excuses will be accepted. You have left us no other options than to deadministrate you, and that's all to it.

Wow, was the post a joke, or was the site actually a legit warez site? Anyway, I think it is a smart decision based on the given information. Hopefully people will continue to obey the rules and have fun! :)

Oops sorry about that Taco, It was my post but I believe it was misinterpeted. What I was looking for was comedy clips and other things of that nature, not liscensed feature films. I am trying to find an old Star Wars/Cops spoof, it was called Troops I think.

Since the beginning of the no-warez rule, there has been a zero tollerance policy for staff members. We've always adhered to this before, why should we not do so now?

So many people posted a link to an other forum or to warez sites too. He made a mistake ok but ... thats not my board thats Chruser board and he decide what is good and bad for the forum.

Well this isn’t the first time tacos done something, I’m going to stand by the rest of the admins on this one, Admins should all agree on something of this caliber.

As far as my personal opinion on taco, He’s my friend, I talk to him quite a bit, and he’s making a lot more money online then I could ;p You have to know how to keep Business and Personal opinion away from each other, bias causes bad business decisions based on personal ones (Although I was minorly flamed before for bring up this exact topic because people say that results in taking zelaron to seriously, the point is, I do take this forum that seriously).

like i told chruser, i think removeing taco from staff totaly is wrong, thats why he should be givin a news poster positiion with randuin. :)
