moles

Hey, i have a mole i wanna get removed, anyone know how that process works? about how much it cost? etc etc etc.

Senesia 2003-05-17 07:03 PM

Excision with stitches, excision with cauterization, Laser (Not used for deep moles, though)

But after the removal there is a risk of leaving a scar...

I think a scar would look better than a mole.

I had a sub-teacher with a huge-ass mole on her neck whom i dont think ill ever be able 2 forget about. Goddamn it was so fuckin nasty. She needs 2 have that removed!...a scar would deffinetly look a lot better than that piece of shit that she has growing on her neck

i have no idea but i do know since i am canadian it would be free under your OHIP and standard healthcare that is givin to you... everything is free even the laser surgery if thats what your doctor thinks you need then you get it free in canada most of the time:)

Senesia 2003-05-19 12:58 PM

The price varies.
Some offers laser treatment for $~400, takes 15 minutes.

Usually excision would range from $40~160. Some moles are cancerous and those costs would be covered by Medical Services Plan.

Non-cancerous ones are counted toward your own expense, however.

Hades-Knight 2003-05-19 01:08 PM

How would u tell cancerous moles from a non-cancerous?

Senesia 2003-05-19 02:35 PM

It would be best to see a doctor.

Check this link.

Sensia, how the hell do you know soo much about moles...? lol

`Insolence` 2003-05-19 07:11 PM

she knows everything about everything :)

id like to get some removed, i have a bunch on my face, but they are all real tiny, almost like freckles, but really annoying. Id be willing to spend 1k to get em off..

-Spector- 2003-05-19 07:26 PM

Does it hurt?

LordZpider 2003-05-19 08:16 PM

the problem with me is, how do i approach a doctor and find one, doctors are hard to come by, and the ones on the face, i think require a plastic surgeon. oy
