Do you acctually use them for doing stuff other than gaming
 

DVD movies , internet connection, and soon to come: DVD burning , recording tv shows and looking at pics.

How many of you ppl acctually use any of these things with your console.? or how many of you bought your console without thinking about playing games on it as your main reason for buying it.

consoles are for gaming.. that its a stupid question, but yes i have watched dvds on it.

OFCOURSE everyone thinks about games first.. u can get a dvd player cheaper ( i believe ) than a ps2.

Actually I don't have a DVD player at home, and I didn't even buy the PS2. My uncle gave it to my brother as a gift, PS2 v.7...I think.

I watched most of my DVD on that, since....my TV screen is bigger than the monitor...and my parents don't want to buy a DVD player...

I didn't get it for the DVD video playback, but since it's there...
