Can't get SC to work

Every time I try to get onto Battle.net with SC or BW, it always say Unable to connect to Battle.net...

How do I fix this?

Make sure your on the internet, and that your ping is average, and your not downloading something at the time of error.

Well if it s anything like me when i reinstalled starcraft i couldnt connect to battle.net either so i had to download patch from Blizzard site after i installed the patch everything was fine.

Oh, I'm sure that will work since I'm on patch 1.08 right now. I'll try it later. I guess.
