Broken Ps2
 

Hey everyone, I got my ps2 about a year ago for christmas, the thing worked pretty good for about 5 months. Then all of a sudden it doesn't play CD's, or the games that come in the cd format. Ok the difference between the DVD and CD format games are the CD ones have a white back, just like a regular cd, and the dvd ones have the blue backs, I don't know what I'm going to do, I am trying to find a new cd drive for it, any help?:mad: :confused:

Basically what I am asking for is either should I look for a new cd-rom for my ps2, or just sell the crapped one and just buy a new one, I'm sorta lost.

I think that happened to my friend's PS2. It only happens with the old PS2s... I suggest just selling that one and buying a new one.

i got a problem too now
doesnt read any discs , ps2 psx dvd, just doesnt respond to anything
any1 perhaps know how to fix something like that ?

undead, try getting a DVD lens cleaning kit and using that on it. Might just be dirt.
