Im working on a pvp pally, lvl 91 now. I need advice on skills and equipment. heres what i got so far. (for equip im only legit, no hacked items)

3/3 leech, 20 ias, 38 mana, 8 fire resist gloves

280+ ed lo eth zerk
2x 10-11 ll, 15+ str, 20+ life, resists ring
Chamed SS
40ed/15ias .08 valor

get new weapon so u get 4 frame rate, i wouldnt use a lo eth zerk, get an ethereal eth bstar it works very well, and its easy to hit 4 frame with it, i did 4-7k zeal with it

a good cruel mythical of XX loloeth will lock better generally, so does mighty scepter

Is a ethereal cruel scourge a good weapon for a pally?

I would say yes, the max damage is incredible, but your duels will vary alot.

The minimum damage is the problem, the best ethereal weapon Ive ever seen was a conquest sword

Ethereal conquest sword of self repair, 285% eth-Lo, I could never beat that fucker.

Some duels you will kill in a couple hits and some you will get owned.

When I used one (299%ed 8 max, eth/zod) I could go a whole game without getting killed, or without winning once, it's a gamble.

Yes scourges are a very big gamble, an ethereal zerker, cryptic, conquest, mythical, or ahhh that 1 handed axe.. i forget its name, i havent played in so long im sorry.

what do u suggest for pvp skills? also im not sure about the armor. should i add a 40/15ias jewel into a .08 valor, or should i get a jewelers XX of stability (24fhr) and add 4 40/15ias jewels? how much ias do i really need?

your probably not gonna need 4 40/15ias in the armor.

thats a waste, get rid of shaeffers.

for schafers you need 120% ias overall (aka 100% from gear)

for 0 base weapon speed (zerker mythical conquest mighty scepter falcata tyrant reinforced mace) you need 60% ias

aka bfist+highlord+20% ias glove+edias jewel in armor/shield/helm

or 2*edias's socketed among armor/shield/helm
(160/30/30, or edias valor+edias helm/shield, edias helm+shield etc etc)

as long as you have atleast 60% ias youre good.

is there a max ias for pally , like 40% ias is max ias for ww in barb?

yes.. 4 frame rate... it depends on weapon and fanat

lets say i have 200 ias on pally.. iis all the ias used?

nope. with lets say...

mythical sword if you have 60% ias your zeal swings rate are (out of 25 in a second)
8/4/4/4/4 (first swing being 8/25ths of a second the rest being 4/25ths of a second)
so a full zeal swing would be 24/25th of a second (96/100th's)

and if you have 300% ias on a mythical sword you would still be 8/4/4/4/4 zeal frame

smite can attain 6 frame and nothing faster.
vengeance and any other non multi hit/smite skills are 8 frame max (same as max speed for first hit with zeal)

Apoq thanx for the info on the x/25ths of a sec for multi hit attacks i didnt know thats how frames were measured its a lot more clear now

just multiply by 4th and measure by x/100th's of a second
