RM2k3 Questions??????
How would i go about turning my character invisible and also how would i transform my hero into a creature/monster????

Invisible
Very simple. In the Event Commands dialog, tab #2, right side, there's a button named "Hero Sprite Transparency". Click it and set the desired state. Remember to set it back when you're done with it! For semi-transperancy, see below. Monster Make sure you have the charset you want, first. If you don't, look for one online. Once that's settled, go to the Event Commands, Tab #1, right side, and hit "Change Sprite Association" and pick the character you want to change, and the "Change Sprite" button. This is also where you can set semi-transparency (a ghost effect). |
Thanks you helped me tremendously!!!
Btw i am looking for some good sprites and battle animations that go with with. i am trying to find sprites of humanoid creatures for my hero since i want my game interesting i think that with some different looking sprites other than the usual human shaped ones. Also could you explain to me how i would be able to make it so that when i transform the hero i use an item to transform him. |
Okay, if you want to transform a character using an item, it's done like THIS:
These two items: http://www.iownjoo.com/freeimghost/imps/Tut_2_1.GIF http://www.iownjoo.com/freeimghost/imps/Tut_2_4.GIF ====================== And these two events: http://www.iownjoo.com/freeimghost/imps/Tut_2_2.GIF http://www.iownjoo.com/freeimghost/imps/Tut_2_3.GIF Quick Notes: --Hosted by www.iownjoo.com again --Change the item useable amount to infinity if you want it to be used that way --You can trigger the turn-into-monster (and the turn-back) events at ANY TIME just by setting that switch. It can even be done in the middle of a different event. --This only affects out-of-battle appearences. If you want to change the hero completely (in battle animations, moves, etc.) I'll make pictures of that as well. -- I just realized I could've made those last two images smaller. Heck with it, I'm too lazy to fix that. |
