You can download the game in 2 ways. First one you dl through the auto-patcher, second you dl the game client, which is 900MB directly. 900MB game client: ftp://[email protected]/L2Arc.exe or http://lineage2.cachenet.com/L2_Arc.exe OR 175 KB Auto-downloader which is on the first page of this thread. Be sure you change htp into http since for some reasons I cannot post a link on this forum.

While you are downloading, you might go to the registration page here: http://secure.lineage2.co.kr/account/agreement.asp

On the first page of registration, ticking the left box means you agree on the terms of use, etc...

On the second page, there should be 3 empty slots. In the first slot, you fill in your name. In the second and third slot, you fill in a Korean ID number, which can be obtained in my previous posts in this thread OR you can download a Korean ID generator: http://www.dreamzonehk.com/korenid.zip
ID generator: after you unzip it, copy a file named VB5KO.DLL into your window SYSTEM folder, or if using XP, copy it into SYSTEM32 folder. You may as well scan it for virus first if you don't trust me.
On the third page, you will come aross 2 botton. Ignore the first and press the second botton. Something will pop up, click it and proceed to the next page.

On the forth page, your name and ID numbers are shown on the 1-3 slots respectively. On the forth slot, you will press the botton next to it so that a pop-up will come out. Enter the username of your choice in that pop-up and proceed to the next slot, which is your password. Again, a password of your choice on the fifth and sixth slots.

On the seventh slot, you enter your email address, but it seems as soon as you click on the empty slot, a pop-up will also come out. Don't worry, simply enter your email address into the pop-up space and you'll be fine.

Below is a tick box, asking you whether you want to receive newsletter or sth like that. You can ignore it.
The next 2 slots are some questions and answers to your password. Randomly select 2 questions and write some answers and get pass it.

The next 2 slots on the same line is your address. Press the bottom next to them will create a pop-up. In the pop-up, copy and paste this : ??? and click ok. (<- WRONG: instead of ??? see the two alternatives below this paragraph)
In the next slot, write something like room XXnumber of your choice)

The next 2 slots are your telephone numbers. They are like this XXX-XXXX (number of your choice)
If something mentioning CD, you don't tick the box.
You're done.

I found more information that also told me this:

The adress mustn't contain 3 question marks, but some korean characters. I used these: Çѱ (<- a space at the end, 4 characters!)
If it still doesn't work, change the phone number a bit here and there..

"¿À»ê" also seems to work (without the quotes)

Trick for people who don't understand Korean, and want to use the CD Gen.

when you have the Generator open you will see three boxes at the bottom, First click the one with a sheet of paper as the icon. This will give you random numbers copy and paste the two stes of numbers, if it dose not work, press the icon again & try a new set of numbers.

I have been directing friends to Zel to get the download , some are encountering problems or finding the guide hard to follow, so rather than repeating myself I thought to edit & update as we solve problems.

none of those sites dl work except for pixelmethods link, allthough i just finished dl'ing after 12 hours off of pixelmethods link and the install prog is not a valid windows 32 application... go figure, this game sucks allready...

well you may aswell wait till the english beta anyways, it's not like u can do anything...

okay so I have the DL going from the offical Korean link and I *think* registration went fine. I know the key worked but not sure what the hell happened when I clicked the end.

The link to the Korean ID gen doesn't seem to work.. Just wondering if there's somewhere else i can get hold of it.
