mmorpg, which should i get?
 

Well the time has come when i am leaving blizzard strategy games and moving on to mmorpg's. I know many of you play these so i was wondering if i could get some of you guys input on which of these games out of this list would be the best to attain. I want to get in real deep with one of these games and basicaly devote my life for the next few weekends to the game i get so plz tell me which one out of these would be the best choice from your own personal experience. Here is the list of games in which i am trying to decide on which one to waste a few months of my life on.

1. Planetside
2. Star Wars Galaxies
3. Ever Quest (basically just buy all of them)

If you play these and are familiar with them if you could basically tell me whats good and bad about each one of these that would be great thx.

Depends on what kind of gameplay you want.

i want to enjoy the game but i dont want a game that will get boring after a week of playing non-stop. I want a game that will get me hooked and keep me hooked well over a month or so... is that possible with an mmorpg?

Planetside really isn't a MMORPG... more of a MMOFPS with stats. If you want action... that's probably the way to go. I've played both Everquest and SWG but I haven't played PS. EQ is sorta boring for me, running around killing rats and giants with pseudo-turn-based "action" just doesn't throw me over. SWG is a different story, it's fun to play, but something in your head tells you it sucks. It's just not really "finished" yet.

so SWG is not a good choice?

Well -Dark Age Of Camelot- aint in your list but i think you should check it out it s a great mmorpg !

so far im thinking about getting SWG just becuase of all the hype it has going for it.

My advice: steer clear of SWG, it's a disaster right now.

DaoC, while it does get boring after a while, is solid and a good game to play for at least a month.

I would go with DAoC or Wait World of Warcraft

He's not paying for it, he uses other peoples accounts.

But WoW is where it'll be at, that game is gonna be awesome. Graphics might not be top of the line, but they are good enough for my taste. The beta for it is supposed to come out within 2 months, or the registrations anyways.

Yea i would either play daoc or just wait. Many good things are coming out soon. Do not play SWG.

Late this year early next. Like I said, beta or the applications are gonna be starting within the next two months.

We'll have to start a Zelaron guild, of course we'll be the Horde.

some1 tell me about planetsdide is it worth the buy or would swg or eq be better to get?

P.S. The beta of WoW was extennded to Q4 instead of Q3. It put it back by 0-2 months.

Yea, I'll be a tauren warrior. They're so sweet. They don't even have a steed like other races becuase they can run as fast as a steed.

Well that's that. Unless Trolls have a Shaman also, I'll be an Orc Shaman so I can buff, heal, and rez all you newbs.
