What does "ISO" stand for?

Ya know...like in a trade channel when someone says "ISO: some windforce" or whatever, what does the ISO mean?

Senesia 2003-09-17 02:53 PM

In Search Of.

tidus2005 2003-09-17 03:58 PM

ok what does BTW stand for then??

Senesia 2003-09-17 04:00 PM

By The Way...
I hope you're joking.

tidus2005 2003-09-17 04:11 PM

no i am just bad with acryonyms and slang so i dont know what some ppl are saying when they type strange stuff but i think we could make a sticky for slang like this for example
afk=away from keyboard
brb= be right back
brt=be right there
wuw= what you want
wug= what you got
iso=in search of
btw= by the way

also we could possible do an item section where you post abreviations or nick names to the items example are
gf=grand fater colossus sword
wf=windforce hydrabow
doom=doombringer championsword
40/15ias= 40 enhanced damage with 15 ias on one jewel
40/15max=40 enhanced damage with 15 max damage on one jewel
there are alot of other ones but i have to go

EX-Mania 2003-09-17 04:25 PM

" 40/ias= 40 enhanced damage with 15 ias on one jewel"

U mean.. with 15 increased attack speed.. u saying with 15 ias is not helping the people who dont know what that means.. but who knows.. if u dont know what BTW means im sure there is a sad bunch who doesnt know what IAS means too :p

zagggon 2003-09-17 04:51 PM

For all those who dont know what IAS means= Increased Attack Speed.

tidus2005 2003-09-18 08:24 AM

we could do some skill abrviations too some time if anyone wants to write them all up a few are
orb=frozen orb
ts=thunderstorm
bs=bonespirit/bonespear
ww=whirlwind
zerk=beserk
fanat=fanatisism
LR=lower resist
GA=guided arrow

Ganga 2003-09-18 10:47 AM

Never heard "bs" as bonespirit/bonespear.... It means Bullshit!

Senesia 2003-09-18 12:33 PM

BS (in caps) would mean that.

But people aren't very specific in using those words...
