Welcome to Zelaron. Aspiring to become a mod already from the beginning might be a good thing...

Sovereign 2003-10-04 01:13 PM

Modding aint as fun as you think :( i mod another forum, and it sucks.

Eddie_Perez 2003-10-04 01:14 PM

Are you the only member?

Sovereign 2003-10-04 01:15 PM

haha no. Dont get me wrong i love doing it, but it can be repetitive.

platnum 2003-10-04 03:21 PM

welcome, i mod some other forums, and i enjoy it.

Sovereign 2003-10-04 03:22 PM

What fourms. Small hosted forums dont count. im sure the number of posts that bigger forums have will make ur job a living hell.

I'm the Moderator of Console Games. Check it out. Become a mod. By that time I'll be WebMaster though:)

It isn't always fun, but it's easy. I started modding TAF fro my friend a long time ago, and now I'm the sole owner. It just got deleted a couple of weeks ago, but it's about 100 strong in terms of regular posters, and I manage to read every single post made every single day, while still having fun.

Heck, I read most posts on Zelaron every day too, except stuff in the Flame Forum, and the D2 sections.

Randuin 2003-10-05 09:08 AM

i mod this forum... and i do nothing

Shining Knights 2003-10-05 09:12 AM

It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose.

zagggon 2003-10-05 11:50 AM

Sen is mod of like everysingle d2 thing, i mean dont get me wrong, she is most likley the best choice but i mean seeing that those are the most popular forums here dont you think that they should have some diversity?

Where the hell did that come from. But anyways, i think it should just be the same. If she does her job well, and form what i heard she is, she can mod the whole damn forum if she wants. I dont know if she mods well from personal exxperience though, i stay away from teh d2 forums.

platnum 2003-10-05 01:15 PM

i think she is a great mod, vast knowledge of d2 things. (besides hacking)

uncapped 2003-10-05 01:44 PM

I think shes good too. Whoop-de-fucking-do.

Senesia 2003-10-05 01:59 PM

Well, beside having the power to close/split/move/edit threads, and the right to administer warnings, moderators are just the same as every other members.

As for the helping the forums to be a better place, every member can contribute to that. Moderators are here to clean up and enforce rules/regulations.

D3V 2003-10-05 02:04 PM

Shes the best for the job because she has the most knowledge/resources for diablo 2. And she doesn't go around flaming people.

zagggon 2003-10-05 04:33 PM

oh wow thank you D3V i would have never known had it not been for you

The1 2003-10-05 04:38 PM

Seriously d3v... How the hell would you know she knows the most d2 resources did you have a poll? Don't talk befour ya know the facts.:wierd:
