We're about 10 mb from our "maximum" monthly bandwidth now, which might mean a "The user has used his monthly bandwidth" might pop up in a while.

In other words, I will have to bribe my host for more bandwidth, unless you people can come up with a better idea :p

That's not the big bandwidth problem, spamming just makes the database bigger. It looks more like someone is downloading lots of files.

of course they download if you put
hacks etc.

But you see, when people are spamming, then each spammer downloads the page content than the normal user.

Nothing from gameportal is hosted on the Zelaron server except for phpnuke itself.. everything else is mirrored or linked to somewhere else.

The counter has been locked for over two days now. I guess something is wrong, since it just skyrocketed and stopped.

yeah i agree, i would help if i was smart but i'm not, but plz figure out somethin cuz i'm new and just figurin this stuff out.

it doesn't have anything to do with "spam" or the # of posts here :rolleyes: people could be leaching your pics..etc....
